  Great stay, perfect location!

  Really enjoyed our stay here! The location is super convenient ,right next to the station and tram, which made getting around Budapest very easy.Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good (though pretty much the same every day). Would’ve been nice to have a kettle in every room.Overall, a lovely hotel and I’d happily stay here again!

  Loved everything about this hotel. Location right by the metro and still within walking distance to lots of the major attractions. Staff were very welcoming and answered any questions we had. Hotel was spotlessly clean and rooms very comfortable. We found the breakfast to be delicious and plenty of it.   Don't stay here if you want to have control of room temperature

  My friends and I stayed in 3 standard rooms over 3 nights, the first night we found the rooms really hot and the thermostats seemed locked so couldn't adjust the temperature in the room, so the following morning asked reception to turn the thermostats down for us. We came back at gone midnight that evening and found out none had been changed, my friends rooms were ok as they had left the windows open while we were out. I went down to reception to ask for mine to be adjusted and after the receptionist spent some time on the computer, she told me it couldn't be adjusted as the building temperature had been set to react to the outside temperature and I should open my window, I advised I couldn't as I had an internal facing room. She then said I could move rooms, which I said wasn't practical at 12.30 in the morning and I'd talk to the manager in the morning. The next morning the manager said I could move rooms but there wasn't one ready then and they'd call when there was one, I said we'd probably be out all day so wasn't ideal and I'd just have to move my stuff when back. I asked if I'd be compensated for the lack of sleep I'd had the past 2 nights and was told no, even though, when asked what I thought was reasonable I said 50 Euro, not even the cost of one night's stay. I was then told I could talk to another manager the next morning before we left. He wasn't in the next morning so the receptionist called him, I then experienced a really rude encounter with a manager with zero personal skills, who effectively told me tough luck. As a side note, the internal room was also noisy in the morning as it is above the restaurant and you can't leave the windows open of an evening for out facing rooms as it's too noisy because of the city location. And, you don't even get a kettle in a standard room to be able to make a tea or coffee. I will not be going back there.
