Location

The hotel is centrally located in Reykjavík, near Laugavegur, the city’s main shopping area. Numerous restaurants, cafés, shops, museums and art galleries can be found just around the corner as well as one of Reykjavík’s largest city park.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 78 non-smoking rooms, including 4 single rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a transfer service, a fax machine, a projector, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm are available. Amenities include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Services include a hotel shuttle bus.

    We were there in June for a 4 day holiday and we were not disappointed, the hotel was clean the room was basic but very clean, the cold water was lovely to drink, but only wash in the hot water, we had a buffet breakfast at the hotel which was very nice and plenty of choice, the staff are very nice and helpful Joanna Fijalek, Guest Services / Front Office at Fosshotel Lind, responded to this review Thank you for your lovely review, Glenda.     An amazing place to stay

    I can't say enough about the decision of our travel agent, putting us in Fosshotel Lind. The hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was incredible, the lounge area was fun to hang out in, the beds were very comfortable. and then there is the location. Practically next-door was an amazing restaurant, Reykjavík Kitchen. And at the end of that block is a fun street to explore. Starting with a small food court and great food choices. Then go up the street and find shopping, bars, entertainment and more restaurants. And even though bus stops are so convenient to our hotel, it was easy walking to the tourist section of Reykjavik. Even walking to the bus station with our suitcases was easy. I have suggested Fosshotel Lind to several friends who plan to go to Iceland in the near future and I would definitely consider staying there again.     Small hotel in ideal location - near main street in Reykjavic. Hotel is well kept, the rooms are clean and the hotel has a quiet cosy atmosphere. Breakfast is very well stocked with hot and cold items including salads. The staff and cleaners were very helpful to us and we were grateful for their cooperation.
