    A fine hotel that's a bit out of the way from the sights and excitement of downtown. There aren't a lot of good dining options nearby, but there is a supermarket a block down. Still, they have a bus stop for tour groups. Good breakfast.

    Great property!! Clean, well stocked and a wonderful breakfast. Went for a girls trip and we loved staying here! The rooms were comfy and well stocked. The breakfast goes from 6-10 and it’s really expansive and delish! Best part is it is a little bit away from city center and we were always the first ones dropped off when the tours came back. Great luggage storage area where we could leave our luggage on our last day before our flight and go exploring. About a $25 cab ride to downtown center. Highly reccomend and will stay here again! The staff there is lovely and friendly!

    Bad planning, great results

    Coming from America and knowing very little about Iceland i booked a whole package through Iceland Airlines. One of the hotel choices was oddson midtown. Honestly it is not whete I thought it would be (I thought it was closer to city center but 4km is a good hike. But I have to say the included breakfast was nice, the option to have lamb soup or vegetable soup at night with beer right in the hotel made it nice. Tours were easy as Reykjavik expeditions picked us up and dropped us back everyday. But MOSTLY the young lady Daniella that worked there in the mornings was so sweet and helpful it made my day. I saw her answering questions for several of the guests and she was the best - thank you Daniella!

    The hotel is comfortable and it’s easy to get to downtown. Free parking is provided. The buffet breakfast was great. There is a bar which offers soup in the evenings.

    Wonder quaint and quiet hotel. Staff is very friendly while there is no front desk you don't miss it. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and wonderfully staffed. There is a dinner of lamb soup nightly that I highly recommend you try if staying...and a bar! Try local vodka! The floors are heated, rooms are meticulously clean and so is the lounge. Conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. 45 minute walk to downtown but the bus stop is right across the street
