The hotel has a lift and features 52 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe.     Great location on main shopping street and walking distance to most sights. Very friendly and helpful staff in all departments I encountered. Excellent breakfast. Rooms clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom.Only 2 issues or disappointments. The bar had a very limited drinks available. Also, some of the furniture in the room was chipped and poorly maintained. It was the first thing I noticed when I entered the room and gave n me cause to pause and wonder about how the hotel was going to be. Fortunately and great fully it was my only complaint. From there on everything was wonderful. Just such a pity that this aspect of furnishing was overlooked.

    The staff at this lovely, centrally located hotel will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Arriving or departing by air or sea? Let them make your transfer arrangements for you. They will make sure a friendly driver is where you need them at the appropriate time. The beds are heavenly. There is noise from nearby bars and restaurants, but it is delightfully quiet once that calms down. The included breakfast was good with plenty of options. Stay here, you’ll be happy you did.

    Centrally located in the middle of Reykjavik. Nice decor. Fabulous staff - very welcoming and helpful. Lovely healthy breakfast with a great variety of toppings for the granola!
