  Very comfortable staying, the room included coffee maker & refrigerator. The location was great, near to the bus stops and walking distance to most of the main attractions. The kitchen and eating area were very clean.

  Me and my family stayed here for two nights. Me, my mom, and my dad had a big, comfy room with a bed for my mam and my dad to sleep together, my own bed, a mini fridge, a coffee machine, some tea bags, a glass table with chairs and a drawer! the drawer was so big that I used the top shelf as my reading nook! My brother and sister got a room for two that was as equally as comfortable! they even brought breakfast to your door!

  I recommend Snorri's Guesthouse, the villa is very clean, we had a beautiful room, a very comfortable bed, great location very close to the center, we are very satisfied!

  Could Use Some Improvements

  Room was clean and beds and pillows comfortable enough. Mini fridge was useful and breakfast was good (croissants, bread, cheese, jam, juice, sometimes fruit in bag hung on door each morning). Shared kitchen had coffeemaker and tea bags.TV did not work in either of our rooms (both messaged and got a response that wasn’t very helpful), lamp would not turn off (unscrewed lightbulb each night), one room had A/C but the other just had a hole in the wall where maybe it used to be, and no toilet paper holder- roll just sat on a shelf. Bring your own toiletries (hand soap and large bottle of body wash provided) and expect the water to smell sulphuric (as it does everywhere). If you arrive before 2pm, your code will not work so do not plan to store luggage unless another guest lets you in. Laundry is available after 4pm when they are done using it for hotel linen cleaning. Location was good- walkable to restaurants and sights. Parking is just street parking- free but sometimes not available close by. If you go in without expectations, you’ll be fine. If you read 5 star reviews and think this place is gonna be great, you’ll be disappointed. Would we stay again? Maybe for one night but probably not three as we did this time.

  We were disposed to like Snorris: the location is excellent with easy access to buses, coffee and pastry shops, and a major landmark. However, the little things piled up and we were left disappointed. First, our door code did not work. And not just ours: 4 separate individual and groups of guests who arrived at various times when we were returning to or heading out from the guest house discovered that the code that had been provided to them did not work. Second, our third floor walkup room (we didn’t mind the stairs) had such steep gables that we were constantly banging our heads every time we stood up from bed. Third, we were informed that although there was a small Nespresso machine in our room filled with water and provided with sugars and stir sticks, it was up to us to supply coffee pods (we would have been content with an electric kettle and instant coffee, or even tea - but there was nothing). While we didn’t mind the walk up two flights, we were surprised that there was no motion detector or night light to support safety on the stairs.
