    Disappointing Stay with Poor Service and Checkout Hassles

    ⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5My stay at The Beatle Hotel, Mumbai was very disappointing and far below expectations.The room size was quite small, the breakfast spread was extremely limited, and the overall property felt more like a banquet/marriage hall than a premium hotel. What surprised me most was the lack of basic hospitality. There was no bellboy assistance for luggage, and upon arrival I was asked to close the entrance door myself while carrying luggage. Neither the reception nor the restaurant staff appeared welcoming, and there was a noticeable lack of warmth and professionalism throughout the stay.The most frustrating part was the checkout experience. Agoda’s booking confirmation clearly mentioned the amount payable, and the hotel collected the full amount at check-in. However, during checkout, I was suddenly asked to pay an additional ₹2,900 as GST. When I showed them my booking confirmation email, the staff still argued and created unnecessary confusion. They called a senior, discussed internally, and eventually allowed me to leave, but at no point did anyone apologize for the inconvenience or acknowledge the mistake. When I finally asked if I could leave, the receptionist simply nodded without even a basic courtesy or apology.For the price being charged, I expected far better service, professionalism, and hospitality. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from check-in to check-out. Based on my personal experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

    The housekeeping department did an excellent job throughout my stay. The room was always clean, well-organized, and hygiene. Towels and toiletries were replenished on time, and Mr. Sumit housekeeping supervisor was polite and attentive. Their attention to detail really made my stay comfortable and pleasant
