  I and my wife landed up at Ginger Nashik on 16 Sep 26 with great expectations on a Wednesday evening much tired after a multi-city flight spanning 6 hours. Ginger being part of a reputed group definitely excited us though we planned only one day stay for facilitating Trimbakeshwar visit. The reception girl was apparently not much amused to see us and not bothered to say even a welcome word or hello . She kept us waiting for close to 30 minutes tinkering with her laptop though our booking through 'Ease my trip' was clear and needed no rocket science to decipher. After that she told us to go to a room in second floor only to see after dragging our luggage there that room was not prepared at all !. One more visit back to her to get another room allotted. Not a word of apology from her as if we paid no money and getting a room on charity basis. Surprised to see no locker available to keep even the basic items in the room. The room was not well maintained with no class or ambience for the price we paid(photos shown in booking sites are definitely superior!) . Sorry to say such rooms are available plenty elsewhere but not expected from a reputed hotel chain. Our ordeals started with toilet flush refusing to work which was repaired after a complaint. We woke up early morning due to ineffective AC . Shower reminded a summer time waterfall apparently clogged and without uniform flow. May be upkeep and repair are resorted through 'Break down maintenance' rather than periodically to save money. Or may be we are pure unlucky to get a poorly maintained room. In any case, we had phoned the hotel staff one day in advance about our booking and time of arrival and therefore such delay and allocation of a poorly maintained room is unacceptable. What disappointed us were the lack of class and ambience in the room allotted to us and lack of warmth displayed by the reception girl. I must confirm that my review is specifically about the room allotted to us and our experience with reception staff . I must mention that our next trip and stay at Ginger Chathrapathi Sambhaji Nagar were very enjoyable.

  Amazing experience at Ginger, Nashik

  I had a really comfortable stay at Ginger Nashik.The room was clean, well-maintained and had fresh towels and linen.Breakfast was varied and had tasty options.Gaurav, Mangal, Rohit and Gautam from the FnB team were very supportive and they helped to make the stay an amazing experience. I would specially like to recommend GAURAV, who was very helpful and paid attention to all my buffet breakfast needs and even gave helpful suggestions for the same.Would also like to mention Arkaparna and Sreya at the Front Desk, both of whom were very helpful and helped me to have a hassle free check in and checkout.All in all a very good experience, thanks to the wonderful and attentive staff at the property.
