  Me and my wife had Stayed from 15th Sept 2026 for 2 Nts Very Possitive feedback from my side All staff ,Front Office ,Restuarant , Housekeeping was very nice & PoliteGreat Hospitality . Food Was Excellect , Location 2 Mts Walk For BeachRooms was Clean & Neat , 100% I will recomend This Boutique HotelMr Vishwas & Vinaya Varik

  An absolute gem in Puducherry!

  This is the most wonderful boutique hotel in every way. We had a truly memorable 6 night stay. Our room was simply gorgeous, with a private terrace overlooking the beautiful swimming pool. The room was very well equipped, with a super comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was such a treat every morning, with a really delicious selection which changed daily. Dinner was beyond all our expectations, every dish beautifully presented, and tasting exceptional. The chefs are really very talented. Thank you to every single member of staff at Palais de Mahe for making our stay with you so incredibly special. You were all, without exception, so kind, courteous and genuinely caring.   A Top Pondicherry Choice

  Choosing Palais de Mahe was the right thing to do for our 3 night stay in Pondicherry - we would highly recommend this hotel and the staff who provide such professional and friendly service. Who would have guessed the building is only 15 years old - good job! Our room, on the first floor, was very comfortable and we loved the easy access to the tranquil pool which we used and enjoyed every day (don't come expecting to swim lengths though, this is more a chill and cool down pool!)We also made the most of the roof top restaurant which served both breakfast and dinner (and in between times too). The breakfast offer is delicious and extensive with a wide choice written up on a blackboard (we really appreciated that orders could be made until 9.30am) while dinner ranges from tasty 'bites' to main meals. It's also a great place to stop for a beer in the afternoon!The hotel is currently undergoing development and apparently will be getting bigger - there was some noise while we sat on the roof top (it could be worth asking about this if you are planning a stay soon). I can understand the hotel's popularity and desire to expand, but just hope that the small pool (and other communal areas) will be able to cope with a larger number of guests.Thank you everyone for such a lovely stay and for all of your help and assistance when it was needed.   My recent stay at Palais de Mahe was truly memorable. The hotel itself is very cosy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Everything is impeccably clean, and the General Manager along with the entire staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional. Their care and attention to detail made my four days here feel effortless and relaxing.The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the restaurant Les Alize. As a passionate foodie who is always searching for the best local flavours, I can confidently say this is the place to be. Chef Kathir and his team exceeded all expectations, introducing me to authentic South Indian delicacies prepared with remarkable skill, passion and love. Jagadesh offered me a spectacular cooking lesson that I will treasure forever, while Chandran delighted me daily with his delicious soups. Antony patiently explained me some of their cooking, always with genuine smiles that added to the warmth of the experience.Every member of the team anticipated my needs with grace and kindness, making me feel not just like a guest, but part of their family. Their hospitality, combined with the outstanding culinary journey, made my stay unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Palais de Mahe to anyone visiting Pondicherry—especially those who love food and value genuine hospitality.
