  Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

  Things I didn't like about that place: staff, disgusting breakfast, dirty sheets, bed and equipment, atmosphere of this place... Even though we booked "deluxe room" (I don't think they even know what does it mean!?) we were taken to some dodgy homestay a few doors away (OMG!), after we refused to stay there, the "deluxe room" miraculously appeared in Agus Beach Inn! Huge mistake - at this point we should have left...but to tired after 8 hours journey from Gili Islands. Music from nearby mall keeps you awake until late, then people coming back late, sitting on the corridors, chatting, listening to the music from theirs phones till almost morning, without any consideration for others!!! Got maybe a couple of hours sleep all together:( Breakfast very poor with questionable quality. Oh, and they have a toaster! with the British plug! but nowhere to plug it in as all the sockets are 2 pin (European style)!:) Maybe I should have brought my own adapter - didn't ask!?:) I could go on and on but what's the point? Glad we had to stay in there just one night. I wonder where this place got such a good reviews from...!? We must have been very unlucky... Close to the airport though.

  I have been staying here when in Bali for the last several years, clean rooms, great staff, I have never had an issue with security or leaving things in my room. A nice homestay operated by a good honest Balinese family.

  We paid £6 pp to stay here which was not to be sniffed at for private rooms.This place is not well signposted and taxi drivers don't have a scooby about its location. It's tucked away behind a side road off the lippo mall.We used it as a base before our flight departing out of Denpasar airport - get a grab taxi to the airport for pennies. 5 min walk away from beach as well.Brekkie - choose from menu and help yourself to toast, juice, tea etc...Rooms - extremely grubby. Bathrooms are most unpleasant with leaky pipes, broken taps and a public toilet feel about them.You can leave your bags there as well during the day.2 star resort - can't argue with the £6 it cost me to stay there though.

  Stayed here multiple times actually because of the proximity to the airport. A bit of a dodgy place, very dirty. The owners seem to be rather greedy (common in kuta bali). I absolutely would NOT leave anything valuable in the room while you are away. The offer all the basic tourist services, but at a high premium. Better stay somewhere else if you can. Gave two stars instead of one because the architecture of the walls is very beautiful.

  Good option for a family room close to the airport

  Stayed at the Agus Beach House 1 (Kartika Plaza) for one night after a late arrival from Australia. Emailed requesting airport pick-up but no response, so rang to book - happy to pay extra for the transport to ensure there was someone at reception to check us in (which there was). Booked the family room which was large and clean. A few very large stairs up to this room!Breakfast included in the very reasonable rate of around AU$40.
