    Great local hotel near to the Vilamoura marina say a 10 minute walk once you work out the footpath short cuts.Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in quick and efficient. Spacious reception, bar, lounge area with plenty of seating.Rooms are good size, we had a family room overlooking the side car park which was quiet and we slept well, although I wonder if there could be noise if the hotel was full as the rooms aren’t soundproofed.The bathrooms are basic but the shower over the bath does the job. I’m not a fan of the mustard colour tiles!For the price the breakfast is amazing with everything thought of. The on request scrambled eggs are good with plenty of other help yourself options.All in all great little hotel for a great price ideal for couples and golfers like us.

    We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Praia Sol, The staff especially Luisa and Andrej were so helpfull, friendly and professional. Quite location but an easy walk to Villamoura or Quarteria. Only five minute walk to nearest beach. Will return.

    Perfectly located hotel between vilamoura marina and quarteira. You won’t find a cleaner or more welcoming and friendly hotel anywhere. From the welcome at the front desk it just gets better and better, you know when you’re in to a winner when you meet the same staff again , friendly is an understatement. I cannot commend the staff or recommend the hotel highly enough. Pool area is spotless and so relaxing, rooms faultless, and nice quiet area. You will not be disappointed and will make a point of returning. Thank you again to all the staff as they are an unbelievable team. See you again next year

    Fabulous place. Very central to everything but very quiet and relaxed. Very clean and staff super friendly and spacious room with fridge and TV. Breakfast was continental but you could request cooked eggs etc. Had Pizza and toasted sandwiches at the bar at lunchtime and it was good. No evening dinner available in October, not sure of other times. Beach 5 min away and Marina in Villamoura about the same. Quarteira promenade about 10 min walk away. Would definitely stay again if in the area

    The hotel is old, rooms are poor. The entire hotel needs an immediate renovation in order to rise the level of provided service. The towels are from 19th century 🤫, the breakfast is poor to very poor. The outside pool is ok. The hotel is situated ca. 800 m to the closest beach.
