The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests in search of the perfect souvenir are sure to find it in the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers cycling/mountain biking. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and anti-ageing treatments. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Close to Monkey Forest but still enjoyed the walk to central Ubud. My tour driver was especially good.     I stayed at Alaya Resort Ubud for six nights in early May. I was grateful for an upgrade to an "Alaya Room" upon my arrival. My lovely room was well appointed and I particularly enjoyed the beautiful flowering tree outside my spacious balcony overlooking the rice fields. Throughout my stay, every request I made and every question I had was met with warmth and kindness. The staff members at the Reception desk were among the best hotel ambassadors I've ever met in my travels. Prior to my arrival, I purchased an airport pickup as well as two full-day tours and one half-day tour from the resort. I had crafted my own tour agenda but I worked with Reservation on nailing down the details, adding a couple of stops that made sense. Reservation was exceedingly helpful, patient and accommodating. Also thanks to them, I had Ary as my driver for four consecutive days. Ary is a good driver and a nice young man who's reserved but also ready for a good laugh and many questions about sights, culture and tradition. He reminded me of a close relative of mine and I felt totally comfortable with him. At every stop, Ary waited for me patiently while I took my time exploring and enjoying the sights. He, along with all the other teams, helped to make my trip to Bali a great success. I will stay at Alaya Resort Ubud again when I return to Bali.
