    Beautiful stay in cenral Ubud

    rating04 Jan 2024

Very nice, acceptable stay in Ubud, beautiful host family. If I ever come to Ubud, definetely one of my two options to stay.Ambience is great, sound of nature although central. There are beautiful aquariums in the yard with goldfish.Just few points to improve for the host:- install a pump for hot water as it is very hard to adjust hot-cold water - place at least a soap in the bathroom- towels didnt smell washed in 60 degrees- place a few hangers for shirts

    Pleasant homestay

    rating07 Dec 2019

Booked through Agoda and only required to make full payment upon check-out. We arrived around 7 pm and the host told us the homestay was overbooked. She then brought us to her friend's homestay which was just behind hers. Her friend's place was quite plain.Anyways, we could finally checked in to her homestay the next day. Her place was truly nicely renovated and decorated. I felt great to be able to experience staying in a local home like that. Breakfast was included and you could choose what you wanted to have. Vegetarian options available.

    Pleasant stay

The room was a good size but needed somewhere to put a case had to lay it on the floor. Shower was either very hot or cold not in between. There are a lot of high steps to each room and to enter the accommodation. Breakfast was good. It is well placed in Ubud town so easy to get around. It is a home stay so the family are around all the time.

So calm, So Serene, So Beautiful

This is a rare gem. For a very few dollars, you can have a cabin that is basically in a temple. There are regular offerings and other ceremonies that are just part of the day to day life of the family that runs it. Cute little dogs running around, a happy bird and the service is excellent and the artwork is devine. Everything is also spotless. In Indonesia you usually do not get such clean and western feeling bathrooms for this price. Plus you are very close the main street in Ubud and the wealth of tourist and traveling activities that are available there.

    Stay at Angga Homestay

    rating07 Aug 2018

My wife and I stayed at Angga Homestay while staying in Ubud, Bali for 6 nights. Home stays are an excellent way to interact with locals and experience a personal level of native hospitality. Putu (meaning first born) Rina, the proprietor, was a very pleasant well humored person to meet as well as her daughter Putu Cynthia, and another person unrelated also named Putu Aangus. They were always ready to assist, no matter the need. Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious and well appointed with modern traditional styling inside and outside as well as beautifully multicolored paneled wooden doors and window portals similar to the color schemes found in temples. Our room, on the second floor, included an extensive outdoor veranda complete with a table and two comfy chairs. It was a great place to enjoy our morning breakfast which was served in the morning on that very table and included a choice of delicious banana pancakes or scrambled eggs along with fruit and toast. A thermos of hot water was also set out upon your arrival and refilled early in the morning to make coffee or tea whenever you wished. Additionally, laundry services were available and done on site at a very reasonable charge. We've stayed at several home stay types of lodgings in Indonesia and this was second to none. This place felt close to home as you were made to feel like you were part of the family. We highly recommend Angga Homestay during your travels to Ubud, Bali.
