Location

The hotel is centrally situated in the town of Ubud, just 2 km away from Ubud Market. Both the Ubud Royal Palace and the Museum of Art are just a 5-minute drive from the hotel, whereas Monkey Forest is 10 minutes away by car. The resort is located 45 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport by car.

Facility

The complex has a lift and features 11 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. There are many ways to relax or stay active in the complex, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, yoga, a spa, a sauna and massage treatments. Additional amenities include an entertainment programme for children with a number of fun activities.

Meals

The dining area includes a non-smoking restaurant and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    This was my first stay at the Holiday Inn Parramatta, and it turned out to be a really easy and comfortable choice for an overnight business trip. The room had everything I needed , clean, quiet and set up perfectly for a short stay.The buffet breakfast was a lovely way to start the morning, with plenty of options and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, just a short walk to the train station and close to cafés and shops.Reception staff were warm, attentive and made check‑in and check‑out smooth and simple. Overall, a convenient and pleasant stay that suited my work travel perfectly.     Comfortable bed, that’s it. No usb ports, no pen no paper, no room information either written or via QR code. Had to go and ask about dry cleaning.Sign in the bathroom about Amenities hidden away, nothing in the roomTv remote hard to use when it worksRude staff in the restaurantSat down asked twice in 5 minutes to order “now”…… they weren’t busyHad to take a call and one very rude waitress came over and wanted me to order….sorry on the phone.Ten minutes later tried getting her attention to order and then left sitting for 25 minutes so I walked out. Told her why and got a really nasty sarcastic answer.Ate at the pub over the road that night and next….which has good foodDidn’t know the area and asked front desk how to get to Westfield, sent the long way, and I clearly gave a mobility disability, sent 500m extraCannot recommend this hotel, rude staff, nothing in the room you might need and no informationThen on checkout they tried charging me for a breakfast I never had. I had said on checking I might have breakfast there so was charged.     What can I say, it's very strange that they treat their paying customers so badly. We arrived at the hotel at around 4 p.m., check-in is from 2 p.m. We were told by a new employee (trainee) that our room wasn't ready yet. Then, after an older employee, who appeared to be supervising the trainee, intervened, we were strangely given a room immediately. However, it was a standard room and not the premium room we had booked. And we weren't even told this. After complaining about it, we were then told that all premium rooms were fully booked. We didn't even get a refund. We will definitely not be coming back and cannot recommend a hotel like this, where the organization seems to have real problems and you are also lied to.
