    The place is so beautifully located with rice pads just one step away from your room that is magical! The rooms are ok, quite big and basically equipped. They are beautiful furnished, so typical and out of reality that one can excuse the flaws. The views are amazing. However, if you go there, forget about luxury as you know it. The bathrooms are old and to have a hot shower can be tricky. Internet is fine, air conditioning too! Breakfast and dinner are amazing! Typical food is tasty and well prepared! Staff is kind and will do their best to answer all your requests. Laundry service possible. Massages are nice too!

    A slice of rural Bali life far from the crowds

    We loved our stay here! A long drive from Denpasar but well worth it for a slice of local life in rural northern Bali . Fantastic welcome from the Atres family and staff who went outbid their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. lovely villa, delicious meals (try the cooking course!) and excellent excursions. We loved the early morning sounds from the local temples (and roosters). Highly recommend the guided hike around the area (local coffee, tucked away waterfall and stunning views). They arranged a trip to hot springs, a local (very untouristy) market and airport pickups - all at reasonable prices.

    Great place, quite en very nice staff! Welcomin the guests, serving drinks, helping in the kitchen and even being our local guide. The host is doing it all! Always time for a “lekker bakkie koffie! We only stayed for one night but is was a great experience. Breakfast, lunch and diner all was good.

    Honestly it was a basic experience nothing special about it. But definately worth it.The Service is something to appreciate for since we arrive they greeted us with a warm welcome, you can choose your welcome drink too, either Hot Ginger or Hot Tea.Good price, good service (except for one guy works as waiter he is not appropriate at all around the guest idk his name and since i'm a "Local" he treated me like i'm not the guest there very rude this guy is, but everyone else professional and great). The breakfast is okay they serve you sliced fruit, pancake, and omelette (it's a european breakfast so if you looking for indonesian breakfast find it somehwere else). Dinner, not really a diverse menu either there's only 2 menu Halal-Wise it's nasi goreng and mie goreng, for the drink choice mostly alcohol and soda drinks other is hot tea.Gorgeous place but the main road to the villa REALLY need to be fixed i think a sedan car wouldn't survive this, the villa is great except the bathroom floor is so slippery i think they just throw a lot of soap and not clean it correctly. I love the swimming pool is a nice touch to the villa. Even the location look like very remote don't worry they have a strong connection wifi there. I stay at villa 7 and is amazing love the view of the ricefield.All in all i appreciate the service, the price is very worth it, and i think the owner made it clear from the restaurant menu and one of the staff behaviour it's not for the Local it's for foreigner. But it's a hidden gem in Munduk, Bali for sure.

    Wonderful atmosphere

    We spent 3 nights here (2 adults, 2 children) and had a great time. The hotel was basic, but nice. The staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. We had all our meals in the restaurant and went trekking in the nearby tice fields (the hotel helped us arrange that). Only negative was the noise in the room from the outside watering system - make sure you get a room with garden view.
