A peaceful paradise.

Tucked away in the forest quite a way from Ubud centre(not a bad thing!). Absolute peace and quiet. Birds, monkeys, flowers, orchids, the whole jungle thing!! Big comfortable beds, silent air con.Food sumptuous, service wonderful, cheerful and super efficient.Beautiful pools, original statues, a total retreat.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful grounds and the most wonderful, attentive, smiling staff. I believe this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at so we are baffled about negative comments! The infinity pool is gorgeous and so is all the food served in the restaurant overlooking the jungle. Absolutely breathtaking. It is steep paths but no problem as a golf buggy picks you up and drops you anywhere on site. Very interesting walk to the rice fields and village with Dodi which was very enjoyable. Thank you to everyone for an incredible stay.

Awesome surroundings and beautiful property

Well the good to start withAwesome place to stay the property is beautiful the green the valley and mountain.The swimming pool when you take the valley facing poll view roomSwim in the moonlight (maybe a bat here and there flying around)Large rooms good Not enough drinking water go fill it in the lobby which unfortunately after a rain fills with bugs(though a letter in the room warns you )Accessories ok in the bathroomBreakfast is from a menu but good enough and very tastyMost staff are courteous and pleasantDinner food was very goodThe buggy leaves you a little up so if above 70 avoid that roomThey do write if you book direct a 15 minute foot ritual but it did not happen and no one even mentioned itDid not extend for an hour and half like we requested but 30 minutesI presume they were booked for those rooms thats ok i guessWorth the surroundings

A slice of forest heaven

This place not only met but far exceeded my expectations for a resort, I would struggle to point out any deficiency in either the accommodations or the staff, from the moment we arrived,and (we were 3 couples,) to the moment we left we had a great time, the staff from gardeners to waiting staff in the restaurant are super friendly and accommodating, we upgraded to the junior suite which was huge, clean ,well decorated and kept in good order, our friends upgraded to the premier pool view rooms also kept just as well, the breakfast was a delight good food options and service,with a great view of the valley, the buggys are a pleasant way to get to breakfast and reception, never waited longer than 5 minutes for them and we were at the bottom end of the resort, I look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend them

Stayed here for a few nights and it was amazing . A beautiful place.The staff where very friendly place was definitely 5 stars.Thank God for the buggy's as you are on a mountain and the walk to reception can be difficult .The pool was great with fantastic views of the forest and there was also a troop of monkeys in the area that would get close in the afternoon some even came to our balcony
