The hotel is a short walk from the white sandy beach of Kuta and only 2 km from Denpasar International Airport.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 100 rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Great value,clean rooms,breakfast good...had a good stay..close to everything..12 minute walk to beach,stayed here to meet my son who flew in from Oz...would i take my wife? Probably ..great base

    Piece of paradise in the city

    Pleasantly surprised with this little piece of paradise located right in the thick of Kuta for our first 3 nights in Bali. There’s food, shopping and spa treatments within close proximity and Kuta Beach is only a 10 min walk away. The pool is set in the middle of a beautiful and well maintained tropical garden. It was lovely being able to enjoy the buffet breakfast we had included for our stay next to the pool. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the Indonesian dishes on the menu were great, especially the Cap Cay. The staff on arrival were friendly and they helped take our bags to our room which was on the second floor. There’s no lift so we were grateful for the help after a long flight. Our room was clean and comfortable enough with a nice view overlooking the gorgeous pool area. Although it took a bit of time to find the sweet spot for the shower temperature, our bathroom was functional and our room was serviced daily. Overall, the vibes at Bakung Sari were so good. We felt very comfortable there and met some lovely travellers around the pool which seems to be the social spot of the complex. Most of them told us they go there every year for the last 12 years they love it so much. You wouldn’t think you were in the middle of a crazy busy city while you’re there, it’s quite a hidden gem. We really enjoyed our time there.

    Noisy Area, Bad Amenities, Not recommended

    The place looks good in photo but it is a very noisy area with sounds, drums, shouts from Temples or Drunk singers. Very old villa, shower was broken. Does not have lift, has to climb stairs with your luggage up to 3rd floor. Receptionist okay, nothing special. They can’t help you with transport, so book your transport ahead from klook or Grab. Only good thing was the restaurant across the street that serves 24 hours.Not recommended for people concerned with hygiene and comfort and clam ambience.

    I spent one night at this resort in November of 2024.It was very pleasant.Check-in was handled speedily and the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming.To travel to Denpasar the next morning a staff member from reception was kind enough to call a taxi for me....Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food served in the dining room adjacent to the garden....This is a pleasant place to stay and worth a return visit.

    Hotel was great value for money..breakfast was good,coffee, toast rice noodles etc...Pool area was fine one or two loose tiles,we used the hotel as a Base to visit my son who flew over from Darwin and it takes all the boxes..shower wasn't the best but balcony great for chilling on..room was cleaned daily and the fridge kept our tinnies and water cold...embrace this hotel as for the price was worth it
