Amazing peace and beauty!

Just an amazing place, peaceful and away from the crowds with stunning beauty, what your visions of the Bali highlands are! Great staff, food and service, nice outdoor bathrooms and showers attached to a very fabulous Balinese Villa. Great food, reasonably priced, had a great adventure by scooter with David up the mountain to the coffee plantation, thanks to both David and Camron! Just what we needed as a very peaceful stop halfway on our car adventure from Jakarta and around Bali!

Bali Lush is magical

Bali is oversubscribed: the traffic in the touristy areas is horrendous and trinket shops flood the sidewalks. The magic of the island is hidden from most visitors If Russians wearing G strings is not your thing, consider Bali Lush. It’s not easy to get to and you won’t find nearby discos. What you will find is rest, natural beauty and incredible hostsI just finished a three week trip of Indonesia and was so tired of traffic, fried food and endless prayer services (broadcast over loudspeaker at 3:30 am). Bali Lush changed my view, its owners Cameron and David are environmentally conscious, detail oriented and want to please with incredible meals including amazing salads and fresh fruit. The yoga area was a delight and my bed welcoming. Wished I could have stayed longer…this is a place where I want to return!

Relaxing, regenerative, amazing

The experience of visiting this little pearl of a hotel is beyond. The owners David and Cameron and their staff were amazing. Friendly, funny and extraordinary helpful. My 17 year old son had childhood dream of picking coconuts, which they immediately made come true. My 18 year old daughter wished to visit local dog rescue, which David drove her to. And … by the way, Cameron, is herself deeply into rescuing dogs, cats in village by having vets coming every 3-6 months so villagers pets get medicated etc. Of the many places we stayed (mostly 5 star hotels) in our 4 week journey on Bali, Bali Lush made us the most happy, relaxed and delighted. We give it 10 out of 5!!!

A hidden gem

We really enjoyed our stay at Bali lush. Earlier reviews summed it up well. The only tip I will give is that if you are a couple book nice and early and try for the frog bungalow. We were initially allocated the dragon fly bungalow but found the 130 steps from bungalow to the restaurant too challenging. Will certainly recommend this charming out of the way place to stay.

Friends recommended Bali Lush to us and they were right! It’s a fantastic place to stay. Away from the hubbub of Canggu and Ubud, it’s nestled in the hills with the most beautiful view. David and Cameron couldn’t have done more to make us welcome and their team are full of smiles and cooked the most delicious food. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and to fall asleep and to wake up to the sound of nature is bliss. Highly recommended.
