Clean, comfortable, easy to get to

    rating15 Oct 2025

We stayed here mid-week in October on a short Cape vacation. The room was super-clean. The bed was comfortable. The front-desk staff person was efficient at checking us in, and helpful with information about the motel and the area. We spend the first day on the Plymouth/Buzzards Bay side of the Cape, then over the bridge to the motel. The next morning, we're already over the bridge and ready to head to activities on the Cape - very convenient. Plenty of parking. Breakfast includes cold cereal, bagels and toast, yogurt, a waffle-maker. Coffee, tea, juice, and milk are offered. We feel this motel is a good value for the price.

    Much better than expected

    rating02 Sept 2025

We weren’t expecting too much from this older Quality Inn near the Bourne Bridge at the entrance to Cape Cod. But the location was good; the price was very reasonable for the Cape in mid-summer. So we thought we’d give it a go. We’re glad we did! We had a very pleasant two night stay. The rooms and public areas were extremely clean; the facilities looked like they had been updated no too long ago. Everything was nice and fresh. There’s a team of McGee people who always seem to be in corridors, attending to the condition of the rooms. They seemed like dedicated, industrious workers. The indoor pool was very clean (Even though the jacuzzi wasn’t operating). There was even a pool table. The attached restaurant (a relative rarity for motels nowadays) was fine: nothing fancy, but simple tasty food served in a friendly but not intrusive manner. The breakfast in the morning was most adequate: waffles, yogurt, cereal, juice, bagels, muffins, and hot, fresh, (barely) drinkable coffee. My only complaint was that you couldn’t control the temperature in the room, and while there was air conditioning, it did get a little warm and stuffy at times. But the windows can be opened. All in all, it was a very nice stay, and we will be back next time we do a weekend on the Cape.

    Very nice stay!

Very good stay. Didn't have any problems! Room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Coffee could have been stronger though. Nothing to complain about. Parking was convenient to the room. Bathroom was okay, but the sink drain was a little slow. All in all a very nice stay.

Not as Good as the First Time - But Still OK

    rating23 Sept 2024

For our first trip to Cape Cod 2-1/2 tears ago, we chose the Quality Inn at Bourne and were so impressed that we stayed there again recently. This really a decent, conveniently located establishment. It is clean and well-maintained by a truly dedicated staff. The food in their attached restaurant is very palatable with friendly bartenders and wait staff. The price, given the date of our stay, was fair. I have only two "less-that-positive" observations.First, the breakfast offerings still tend to be a bit thin. We are used to included breakfasts at places like Hampton Inns. Quality Inn pales in comparison. Cereal, toast and machine-made coffee? Actually, the in-room machine made better coffee. Plus they have incorporated a policy prohibiting taking anything back to your room. Their breakfast room is small and not very inviting and I do not like dining with strangers. We simply refused to comply and sneaked! However, the worst change is to their housekeeping policy, We were there for four days and we totally agree that daily fresh sheets are not necessary. Apparently Quality Inns has implemented a "green" housekeeping policy for two days minimum. THIS place has stretched it to three days. We do not mind making our beds but three days is entirely too long ... stinky damp towels, overflowing waste baskets and limited toiletries. It ceased to be fun!Regardless, the benefits outweigh the negatives. Enjoy the lobsters and crab!

    Best Yet

We were truly wayfaring strangers. After a mix up with our reservations with another motel, a kind owner of Another hotel obtained an accessible room here on July 4 weekend. Not only was it accessible, but was the most accessible we’ve been in, with close proximity to all amenities. The staff went over and above.
