    Wonderful beachfront bungalows. Really spacious, homely and comfortable. Beautifully laid out gardens and landscaping. Restaurant offering a wide range of Indonesian and western food and delicious cocktails. Lovely, friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    Good Value for money with quite a few flaws

    Situated in the West of Candidasa at the beach front, this hotel offers rooms with sea and garden views. Generally, good value for money in Candidasa. Small but nice infinity pool, swimming in the sea is difficult.However, there are quite a few flaws, most notably internet availability and bandwidth, which is appalling; your best chance to stream a movie or download larger files is between 2am and 6am. This is acerbated by the fact that there is no Live TV, hence no TV news. Housekeeping leaves much to be desired in terms of attention to detail, e.g. towels taken but not replaced, glasses not properly washed, etc.Breakfast is basic and inexpensive (not free). The Spa offers different treatments, all of which are professionally executed. Staff are generally friendly but only a few of them speak average English.

    Great place to stay in candidasa on the beach great location and service the restaurant has great food and view 5th time staying here great choices of rooms all bungalow style great pool next to the restaurant full bar service even have cocktails and coconuts

    We were staying nearby and visited the restaurant several times. Breakfast is great value - they have a western, Indonesian and pancake option which includes coffee or tea, fruit or juice and your preferred option. Lunch was also good. Lovely sea views and friendly staff.

    Clean and comfortable rooms with al fresco showers. We started in deluxe rooms near the back of the resort which were goid but a littke close to the road and a howling dog. They kindly moved us to garden suites the next day at no extra cost - these were bigger and quieter. Seafront restaurant and small refreshing infinity pool. Delightful helpful staff and incredibly cheap and good breakfast and lunch. We ate dinner at a number of the excellent Candidasa restaurants - most whom offer free transport to and from. 30 min walk to Lotus Lagoon and the "centre" of town. Great value place to stay. Who needs 5 stars?
