Location

Nestled in a bay of sand and clear blue waters, the resort is located in the village of Candi Dasa on the east side of Bali. The Bat Cave is about 15 minutes away by car. The resort is approximately a 90-minute drive from Denpasar and Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Facility

23 rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the club feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and fishing are available. Water sports on offer include snorkelling or, for a fee, banana boat rides and diving. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa and a sauna and, for an additional fee, a spa and massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Puri Oka lives up to all its excellent reviews and truly is a hidden gem.Tucked away at the western end of Candidasa Beach and accessed via a private laneway, this special retreat feels peaceful and secluded from the moment you arrive.Nestled among beautifully manicured traditional Balinese gardens, Puri Oka offers a choice of Garden Rooms, Ocean Rooms, and Villas. The private pool area is a standout feature, complemented by stunning views of the beach, the ocean, and nearby small islands.What makes this affordable venue even more unique is the warm hospitality shown by all the staff, who consistently go out of their way to make guests feel welcome, relaxed, and well cared for throughout their stay. The hotel restaurant also offers an excellent selection of menu options, which we enjoyed so much that we dined there every night.We stayed in a standard room, which was comfortably appointed with effective air conditioning and firm, comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay.If you are looking for a tranquil, traditional Balinese hotel experience, look no further than Puri Oka for affordable and charming accommodation.     Puri Oka Bungalows went over and beyond to make our milestone anniversary so special. Sari, the bartender, absolutely spoiled us! It’s the perfect place to relax with cocktails overlooking the quiet beach. The food is delicious and well priced, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and you can even swim right in the ocean. A truly magic spot to stay!     I stayed in room 3, right in front of the pool with beautiful views to the ocean. I was totally happy with my room. It was nicely presented, everything worked well, the bed was comfortable and mybroom also had an outdoor shower. All of the staff were super lovely. The breakfast was quite basic but very tasty. There is a small, sheltered beach directly out the front and the water was crystal clear. The hotel is located down the quiet end of town, so I found getting around a bit tricky but I did enjoy the peace and quiet. Swaygo Ruby, Owner at Puri Oka Beach Bungalows, responded to this review So glad you enjoyed your stay, the sound of the waves from that bungalow is very relaxing. The reception staff are always happy to call a taxi or drop you off if you need 😊

    I booked this accommodation on a whim because of the inexpensive rates & then convinced a friend to come to Bali with me. I booked room 3 ( $80 NZD) and my friend was in a basic room ($50 NZD). We were delighted. The rooms aren’t perfect but they were exceptional for the cost. We also loved the village & location. If you want to get away from the madding crowd, but still driving distance for great day trips this place is perfect.Great staff. Smaller and friendly. Lovely pool, and a beachfront restaurant where we could see sea turtles.

    This place is a little hidden gem right on the beach. It offers bungalow style rooms as well as a 1 bedroom apartment and a 3 bedroom. Both have their own private balcony with plunge pool. The staff are so friendly and the food and drinks are amazing and super cheap. We have stayed here a few times now and I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing unwind
