Location

The hotel is located right on the Tamarind Beach of Lembongan with views of Agung Mountain. A seaweed farming village also can visited by motor bike, which is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

    For the price it was an excellent location on Nusa Lembogan.Walking distance to Mushroom Beach 🏖️ a very nice beach !Very good lunch and dinner place in walking distance especially the close by Warungs.

    I had a really lovely stay at Bay shore huts-location was amazing. My room was spacious and comfortable. The pool and garden areas were very well maintained. The staff were very helpful in organising a ferry back to the mainland as well as a tour for myself to visit Nusa Penida-everything ran smoothly and I had an amazing trip-the tour guide took me to all the popular site seeing spots. Overall I would recommend this hotel-idyllic location I wish I booked to stay longer.

    Charming Huts but with Maintenance and Hosting Issues

    The ocean views are stunning, and the infinity pool in front of the bar is a real highlight. The location is good with Mushroom Bay just a short walk away. The gardens are well kept, the huts look lovely from the outside.Unfortunately, our superior sea-view hut felt poorly maintained. The outside bathroom had cracked tiles and broken wooden slats, which made it look very dated and not well maintained. I became unwell with traveller’s sickness while on the island, and spending time in the bathroom at night was unpleasant. There were no handrails down to the bathroom (slippery when wet) and front porch - making it a little hazardous. We were also charged by the manager / owner 100,000 IDR for him to drive us to Mushroom Bay (short distance but difficult with luggage) to catch the boat back to Bali, which was disappointing since many nearby hotels and restaurants provide complimentary transfers to and from your accommodation to their bar / restaurant for a night out (eg Sandy Bay). He also asked us not to write a bad review which didn’t sit well with us. During our trip, we stayed in five different hotels across Bali, including a 3-star in Ubud that was exceptional. By comparison, Bay Shore Huts no longer feels like the 4-star accommodation it may once have been.

    A wonderful 3 weeks stay at Bay Shore Huts

    We have stayed at the Bay Shore Huts several times over the past years and this time for over 3 weeks. The resort is beautifully located at Tamarind Beach, with very nice views. There are 2 swimming pools, both very clean. There is one in the garden and one next to the restaurant with beautiful views over the bay. The rooms are spacious and very clean with frequently provided fresh linnen, and necessities like fridge, water boiler, clean aircon and enough storage room. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The restaurant offers a variety of good quality food and meals that are very reasonably priced and a real big breakfast if included. If you are looking for a change, The Palms Resort and Restaurant is only a short distance away, owned and run by the same family, and offers excellent quality meals. All staff at BSH, everyone included, managers, receptionists, waiters, chefs, cleaners, gardeners are very friendly, helpful and doing a great job. We highly recommend the massages and wellness treatments as the ladies do an excellent job. Bay Shore Huts can also arrange all kind of activities, transport on the island, scooter rental and are flexible and helpful when it comes to special requests e.g. like early/take away breakfast. Staying at BSH guarantees a very nice, relaxed holiday and we are certainly planning to return a few more times.

    Lovely hut with all the necessary comforts, nice view and pool area. No direct access to the beach but 20 minutes walk to mushroom bay. Staff help and breakfast on the seafront was great. Really enjoyed our stay, the huts are only 20 minutes from the boat but the Scoot free transfer took ages. Should have got a direct taxi!Island tour and snorkeling brilliant.
