    WE STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND! The staff steals money from the safe in our room. We had 2,000,000 rupees and $120 stolen. We filed a police report.WE STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND!

    The Betutu Villas are beautiful. Spacious rooms with the most comfortable bed. Beautiful balcony with pool / jungle view. Breakfast was lovely fruit , crepes, eggs, toast and jam with juice and coffee. The pool was so refreshing after a busy day and loved the loungers in the pool. Staff were great and so polite and helpful. Located down a quiet lane but still in the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Would highly recommend these villas.

    Location is fantastic - yes it’s down a narrow street but a car can make it down with care ( just!). It’s an easy walk even with large cases to the end of the narrow road too. The pool area is really relaxing after visiting the centre of Ubud or the Monkey Forest etc. I thought breakfast was great - the omelettes the team made to order were fantastic ! All the staff were really friendly and it had a real atmosphere of being a family ran property ( not sure of it was ?). It’s a great base to explore Ubud on foot and also easy to arrange trips, m/bike hire etc to go a little further out to Cretya and waterfalls etc and other nearby attractions. We had a great 4 nights here.

    Located down a laneway off one of the main thoroughfares through Ubud. The bstaff were friendly and helpful.I stayed in a delux double with balcony overlooking the pool and the under developed land behind. Total peace and quiet inside the room at night and step out on to the balcony and it's mostly frogs and crickets. My room was spacious, modern looking and tastefully fitted out. The large bed had clean linens and provided a comfortable sleep. Shelving and hanging space for your clothes. The aircon, fridge and TV all worked fine though the only english channel was the BBC. Power points beside the bed if you unplugged the side lamp. Lighting was very good. Blackout curtains. Kettle etc provided as well as two very small complimentary water provided daily.The bathroom had a segregated shower with shower curtain and excellent hot water and pressure.The balcony had a table and two chairs as well as clothes drying rack.Breakfast was very good. Choice of a main from the menu with coffee/juice complemented by a yummy green banana crepe and mixed fruits.The pool not small not large with sun loungers but looked well maintained.Overall, having done my online research and booked months in advance I was more than happy with my choice a room allocation. Centrally located, quiet, more than happy to stay here again if I ever return to Ubud.

    Made a booking in this 4-star htel for 3 nights for a special 'black friday' price. Got a confirmation from Betutu Bali Villas and paid via booking.com in advance. One day later the hotel send me another message, saying they're fully booked and offered me, to accommodate me in their 'neighbour company' close by. All neighbor accommodations are guesthouses and homestays, none of them is 4-star. So I guess they're fishing for guests with a dumping price and on arrival they accommodate you in a cheap homestay. Be careful to book this hotel and don't pay in advance, otherwise your stay in Ubud could be a very disappointing one, cause you've booked a 4-star hotel and may end in a low budget homestay. Now I'm waiting for a refund and book my stay in a hotel, that is more reliable.
