    Great location but poor maintenance.

    rating15 Dec 2024

If I were rating the villas on friendly staff and size and quality appliances you would give them 5 stars because the villa and the pool were enormous and appliances top notch but unfortunately something has gone wrong here. The ceilings looked like they’d had water damage or just really bad workmanship all through, the beautiful timber floors were rotting next to the shower because of the way the door wouldn’t close properly, tiles were falling off the wall in the kitchen and just in general the villa made us feel sad that someone had put a lot of money into them but didn’t make sure it was done properly. It seemed at least a quarter of the villas were abandoned including what must have been the reception area and they are now using a not quite as run down villa as the office. Upside, the sound system was great and ran through the whole villa including the bathroom and outside and having a filtered water and ice fridge to use was really good. Breakfast was delivered every morning which was nice and it was a few minutes walk to the beach, market and restaurants. Aircon was ok but struggled a little because of the size of rooms and gaps around the doors. Staff were very caring and the villa clean.

    Please don't go here!!!

This villa is a disgrace, don't go there. The pool has black mould around the bottom and sides with loose tiles around it.No dishwasher, no microwave, mouldy showers, dirty furniture, doors don't lock, glass wall at front is cracked, the towels are disgusting and when collected staff use them for cleaning and wiping glasses and crockery.TV didn't work , had to get technician in to fix but tv in Indonesian. The showers are disgusting with orange mould and broken wall tiles. The step into the bath had come away and was filthy. The top of the water container was filthy.Beach towels were stained and every morning when we got up we were covered in bites!Furniture was dirty and most villas were closed and overgrown with weeds. The only good thing were the staff who tried.

    Very disappointed

A sad reflection of what these villas would have been years ago. Very tired now. Staff did their very best in what must be a very frustrating environment. We stayed 7 nights and had to call maintenance every day to fix something.Huge, heavy doors that wouldn’t slide (or lock).Lounge chairs dirty, with cigarette burns and so low to the ground they were impossible to get out of.One bed so low to the floor you had to roll over and crawl out backwards!Bathroom taps that wouldn’t turn off with water running all night (twice before it was replaced)No hot water for 4 of the 7 days.Fridge old and rusty.Pool badly in need of a good scrub. Mould and growth built up in grout and corners. No smoke detectors or sprinkler system.Television reception dreadful.Front door security entry has obviously been replaced a couple of times, but neither touch pads worked so had to carry old fashioned key with us everywhere we went. (1 key is not enough for a 3 bedroom villa).Water pressure too low to get a decent shower.Timber floors have had water damage in doorways and very scratched throughout.Toilet not fixed to the floor, so moved every time you sat down or stood up.Bathroom spa baths had obviously seen better days and there was no way any of us would have used them - and there were no bath plugs anyway!Water connected to fridge looked green, so not suitable to use for chilled water. The ice maker didn’t work either. There has obviously been a fire in the electrical box at the rear of the unit which had burned a huge hole in back wall.Only 2 sunlounges for a 3 bedroom villa that sleeps 6.It is obvious that the owners have let these villas deteriorate badly and there are only a few actually in use. Most are sitting derelict with broken glass, weed infested pools, grass growing from guttering and overrun gardens. There is no real reception area and one unit is being used as a temporary office. In fact, upon checking in, we were very concerned that this would be a reflection of what the villas would be like - and we were correct!Even with the “special” deals, these villas are dreadfully overpriced. All this being said, the villas are in a great location, close to the beach and good restaurants and bars. They’re close to Seminyak Village and Square and the markets. The bedding was clean and of good quality, but the towels were of poor quality and looked more grey than white. The staff were very obliging and did their best to rectify issues as they were raised, but it is obvious that the owners are not willing to spend the money required to bring up to an acceptable level.I’d look elsewhere if you’re looking for a good quality villa. What should have been a relaxing holiday, actually ended up being very stressful.

    Poor, poor, poor

Of all the trips/holidays we have taken around the world I have never experienced anything like C151 Seminyak. Whilst the staff were doing their best, the accommodation was dangerous. No smoke alarms, no sprinklers, doors didn't close or lock, taps would not turn off, metre box had burnt & damaged rear wall. Another box was installed with makeshift connections. No hot water as gas had no pilot flame. Water supply to refrigerator was dirty & tainted. Most of the units in the complex are closed and overgrown. At best, 1 star.

Wonderful, spacious private villa with a pool, in a great location!

    rating16 Feb 2024

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort, with a special thanks to Sintia and the other guys (sorry we didn't catch their names) from the housekeeping staff. They met all our needs and went out of their way to make sure all our requests were taken care of. The three team crew, along with a gardener and pool guy, cleaned our villa daily and very efficiently. Adit was very helpful at the front desk, and helped arrange in-room massages. We loved the breakfasts, sound system, and serenity of the villas. Very spacious and comfortable. We also appreciated them accommodating our niece and nephew at short notice for our last two days. We had a three bedroom villa with two bedrooms locked as there was only two of us. They opened up the second bedroom (for a fee), that had a full bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. We do have a few comments that could improve their clients experience. When we arrived it was dark and the driver could not find the resort. We drove around in circles several times. We did not realize they only did breakfast in our villa and we had walked around looking for the restaurant. Also, we had a hard time finding the lobby as the map in the villa binder is old and out of date. They lost their lease for the lobby building and pool across the road and were using Villa 1 as their office. To be honest, they didn't need a lobby as everything can be done remotely, with breakfast delivered to the villa, all communications done by WhatsApp, and them coming to our villa for any of our needs. We had a hard time synching the sound system and didn't realize we had to blue tooth with our phones. We also did not realize you had to point the curtain remote control up to the sensor and we found it difficult at times to close the curtains. We would like to suggest, it would be prudent to have a simple cheat sheet included on the reservation confirmation that includes an updated floor plan, explaining directions to the resort, their phone number and to message or call using WhatsApp to give directions to the villa you will be staying at (there are twenty villas) and they meet you there. Also, tips on how to use the sound system and curtains. All in all we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again. It is a slightly older resort, but the staff and experience make it a worthwhile stay. Its located in an area a short walk from shops and restaurants. We'd eating at Casa Blanca, an Italian restaurant. If you do, say Hi to Matteo, their general manager. He's an Italian character and he'll take good care of you! 😊Hope this helps!
