    Return visit

    rating20 Dec 2019

I visited and reviewed this place twelve months ago, and am writing another review as it's a different experience. This time, travelling with my partner, we booked a different room with booking.com. Staying for five nights, the price worked out at approx $50 Aus per night for two, and that includes breakfast. We are staying in the two level option, which includes a room upstairs with a balcony overlooking the rice fields, and an open area downstairs to relax in. The infinity pool is a shared area. I didn't take advantage of the breakfasts last time, but I'm glad I have this time. Everything is made to order with three options including eggs fried or scrambled, pancakes or omelettes, served with a huge coffee and fresh fruit. I noticed other guests chose to have their breakfast served on a floating tray in the pool, which is a fantastic idea if your stay here is for romantic reasons. This time, there's a lot of building works going on in the rice fields directly below us - I'm not sure if it's a medical facility using the money generated by staying here, or whether it's another resort, personally, it didn't bother me. I tried to food delivery from their sister restaurant and personally, I wasn't impressed with the quality this time, overall, we are having a great time here, the staff, who I gather are trainees, are wonderful. Please consider staying here when visiting Ubud, it's a wonderful experience away from the hustle of central Ubud, and the funds raised go to much needed medical facilities for the local inhabitants. Oh, wifi is good and they offer a range of massages.

Great place to relax in Ubud

    rating07 Jul 2019

We had a great time staying at Villa Capung Sakti. Eka was very friendly when answering our questions. The staff at the villa were very good and wanted to provide recommendations regarding what we needed. We were a group of 9 adults and 3 children, so it might be a bit troublesome for the staff, but they dealt with it extraordinarily. The most preferred thing about this villa is its incredible view, and the swimming pool which is located right in the middle of the villa, makes it an excellent gathering arena. This place is highly recommended for those of you who want to enjoy a relaxing time and be free from the hustle and bustle of the city.

    Feels Like Home

    rating04 Jun 2019

A group of 10 of us stayed here 8 adults and 2 kids. The staff were amazing the pool was clean and inviting. We felt like we were at home and also had our own private paradise. The rooms were spacious clean and cool. We love that all profit goes to help those in need. It is a little bit out of the way of Ubud but that's what we liked about it. Our whole group will be returning again next year for sure

Ethical tourism in a beautiful setting

    rating22 Dec 2018

All money raised from staying here, and eating at their sister restaurant, provides surgery and medical consultations for the local Balinese people. The place I s just beautiful, there are four or five rooms surrounding a beautiful swimming pool overlooking a rice field. We booked two rooms, and were the only residents on the first night. The rooms are beautiful, with four poster beds and mosquito netting, beautiful Balinese furnishings and paintings, and each room has its own bathroom. If you are looking for a honeymoon spot then this would be the ideal place! There's a communal kitchen, th e staff can prepare breakfast, and they will organise delivery from their restaurant down the road. The red curry prawns were absolutely delicious! It's a fair way from the town, but the staff can organise a taxi for around $7 Aus. At around $80 a night for a room (there is a minimum stay of three days) why would you want to stay anywhere else in this beautiful part o f Bali. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Oh, and they provide free and efficient wifi.
