  I don't like to leave negative reviews but here I have to, dirty and old room with mold and especially with open windows above, and sliding where mosquitoes and insects enter quietly.We changed hotels and I recommend it to you too Originally submitted in Italian on www.tripadvisor.it.   An apparently Luxury Villa that becomes a nightmare

  1405 05Lbs 17 2617Lbs 08 1708Lbs 03 5316If I could I would leave a 0 star review and I am really SORRYYYY because I don’t like doing it but I’ve traveled around Indonesia and this is the first time it happens to me. I shared a 2 rooms villa with a couple of friends. The room itself is not bad (and that’s what triggered you the most from photos), the problem is the maintenance. The bed sheets were dirty, the shower came off the wall, the door of the bathroom comes back open and it was full of mosquitos and small flying bugs. The biggest problem is outside. You see a nice pool from the photo but no one tells you that there’s no space, no seats, no table or chairs to have breakfast. The water is cold and the sun never hits it. Breakfast comes from outside, it isn’t good, there’s no vegan option or sweet like cereal or yogurt. They serve it ONLY inside or floating and trust me…having a floating breakfast is nothing but uncomfortable. If you want to eat together you have to sit in one of the rooms and sharing a small table sitting on the ground. Now the staff. None of the room had an hair dryer and when we asked they told us ‘out of stock’. Got it for us the next day but I needed a midnight after a long day. We asked to toilet paper, never get it. We asked for coffee, never get it. They didn’t even have something for mosquitoes bites (and the room was full). Lastly the door of the villa didn’t open completely and there was a high risk of falling in the pool.Plus it’s not in a good position if you want to walk to the beach. To recap an apparently luxury villa which changes the mood of my holiday.

  Private and just what we wanted!

  Me and my wife spent our honeymoon here, was exactly what we wanted and needed.A well kept villa with very accomodating and friendly staff, especially Gede, nothing was ever too much trouble for them.We spent most our days and evenings away from the Villa but it was lovely to come back to a tidy and private little area and have a refreshing dip in the pool or chill in our well air conditioned room. The beds were comfy however the tv seemed pretty pointless if I am honest as didnt connect to anything, were weren't really bothered as we werent there to watch tv.The walk to the beach was 5-10 minutes and very easy to get to and we were very close to plenty of bars, restaurents and markets.For info the pool and are is enclosed and doesnt get a great deal of sun so isnt a space you will probably want to stay in during the day but again really wasnt something we were hoping for.Wifi was spot on, and the kitchen facitilies were very useful.Shout out to the breakfasts as they were delivered to the room and were very nice would a good variety of options.

  Sudden change of our booking

  We booked 4 single-room villas in Feb23 for our trip in June23. In mid of May23, they offered us to change our 4 single-room villas to 2 bedrooms villa and we replied them we would like to keep our current booking. They sent us another email on 1st June'23 to inform us that our rooms no longer available due to their 'system error' and asked us to take their 2 bedrooms villa. They knew we come in groups, so they pushed us to the 2 bedrooms villa instead of one bedroom villa. Despite we have booked our rooms early in Feb'23, they informed us the issue on 1st June which is one day after we could get full refund. They made us no choice but have to accept the 2 bedroom villas. They also remained silent when we asked for further clarification and solutions. Eventually, we reported to Agoda about the issue and they cancelled our bookings without our notices 1 week before our trips. We are really disappointed and pissed off on the way they treated us, so unprofessional and unfair! Stay away from this villa!!!

  Amazing stay at Del Cielo

  Such amazing hospitality, everyone was so welcoming and really looked after us! The room was the perfect size very clean and a private pool. I had an accident on a bike and Gooday couldn’t do enough for me checking in everyday to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything. We’re sad to be leaving as we really loved our stay! Thank you for everything whilst we have been here 😊
