    Double one 11 at Lipah beach Amed

    At Double One 11 (there are two hotels and we mistakenly went first to the one we didn’t book which is 5 minutes away) for 25,000 rupiah a night you don’t get 5 star but you will get a decent base, attentive staff, a clean pool, air con , maybe an ocean view, across the road from a safe beach with very good tropical snorkelling (possible turtles definitely colourful fish) on the beautiful Amed coast. Try eating at the waters edge restaurant at the east end of Lipah beach and try the chicken tika masala two doors down. Please don’t walk on the coral.

    The staff opened up late for me and let me check in after a long night of travel. Huge rooms with huge beds. Charming gardens and staff. Can hire a scooter there. Away for the hustle and bustle of the main strip but not far out of town. Recommended for a quiet place to stay in Amed. Thanks!

    Today my friends came back earlier in their room and find that the staff was looking for something in their baggage.Sure- they refuse everything.We had to leave this hotel. Really unpleasant for starting a new year

    Great staff (not pushy), excellent proximity to beach, tasty restaurants, and a well equipped minimart next door (many rooms have kitchens too). Our villa had a wonderful view from our bed and large terrace that we could eat on. The local restaurants on both sides of the hotel would even deliver to the room. True luxury amenities at a modest price even for Bali. Kitchen was 2 burners and a fridge. Plenty of pots and utensils too!We would move into these villas permanently if we could stay longer...

    Great Place Near Lipah Beach!

    We spent three weeks in one of the villas. It was wonderful! The kitchen was really convenient and it was well stocked with plates,pots, pans, utensils, etc. The room was lovely and the bathroom quite large. The gardens are very nice and my kids loved the pool which was deep! What made Double 1 the best, was Gede. and the rest of the staff. They were so helpful, kept everything really clean, and were super friendly. Everything was perfect. We will be back!
