    So close to the main street!

    From the moment we arrived,we greeted by the lady that helped us checking in to the room,we surprised that the rooms are very close to the main streetWe booked the biggest room available (again surprised that is the first room from entrance gate) inside the room is very spacious with a living room and fully eqipped kitchen set - WOW! Everything inside the room were worked - TV / Fridge / Lamps and WiFi is also works greatWe spent our afternoon swimming in the pool - not so big but really nice! the ambience are ok because it's literally beside a main street so you will hear traffic passing by - and often really loud!As the room is very close to the street,at night when we sleeping sometimes we surprised by the loud motorcycle passing by - not so good sleep.

    As we arrived there was no one waiting for us and we didn’t know what to do. So we called the number we had but nobody answered. By chance we saw a little paper hanging on one of the bungalows‘ doors with my name on it. The door was open and the key was inside. So when you arrive, watch out for papers on the doors :)The rooms are clean, as well as the pool and the outside bath, which is by the way really cool. To ubud town you need around 15 walking minutes which is okay but on the way it‘s partly very steep and after a while you get tired walking this way over and over again.     Beautiful room, open bathroom

    Stayed two nights here while we were in Ubud. The room had pretty decorations and the paint and sheet gave out tranquil and fresh vibes. The room has both AC and fan. I love places that do that! We mostly used the fan since it was quite cold at night and we needed to dry some clothes. Though the villa provided clothesline but the it was not placed in a spot that received good sunlight. The keepers changed the bottles and tidied the room daily. I am not really fond of open bathroom since it can be quite scary at night 🤣 but they manage the place quite well and it was really clean.The villa does not have a big parking space and it is located outside the gate. We rented a scooter and it was parked there every night. Thankfully, it was safe.Had a pleasant stay here!     Gekkos is a nice place to stay while discovering Ubud and the beautiful area around Ubud. Although its a little bit loud as it is near by the a street where a lot of cars and scooters drive...     Stayed in ubud for a night for my trekking trip. The villa was a simple villa with 5 / 6 rooms available with no lobby. Though it was a relatively small villa, it was comfortable and nice enough. Bedroom cleanliness is good and they have open-concept bathroom. Location is really good and convinient - a good massage place opposite and a cosy cafe. 15 mins to Ubud central with car / motor. They only have a slot for 1 car and couple of motorbikes in their car park.Stay here if you're looking for a simple place to stay and a value for money. If you're into mid-high resort stay and used to Seminyak boutique hotel, i think you will find this villa too simple.
