  An enjoyable stay at Dafnoudi hotel & apartments, Antipaxa

  Antipaxa where Dafnoudi is situated is in easy reach of Fiscardo. Walking took us about 35 mins. We stayed in room 3, a ground floor studio with a terrace and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and spacious, had aircon, plenty of cupboard space, a fridge and everything needed to self cater if wanted. The room and bathroom were cleaned daily. Towels changed every 3 days. Breakfast was served outside under cover and provided a varied selection of foods. The general atmosphere was quiet and relaxed.

  Super chilled!

  What a super find this hotel was. Less than 5 minutes drive to the harbour in Fiskardo. Super clean. The hotel is run by a lovely family and has everything you need. Rustic Greek charm but the most comfortable bed, a lovely pool, and friendly cats. Our stay has been super chilled and one of my favourite holidays on the island. We will definitely be returning here. Highly recommended.

  BEWARE GREEDY GREEK

  I’ve booked this hotel 3 times now, the 1st time through an agent and then through the owners directly. I’ve always booked the same room which is on the ground floor and has a lovely patio. We’ve had 2 lovely holidays here. We booked while here last year for this year and paid a CASH deposit which is what they prefer, they also prefer you to pay in CASH when you check in . I confirmed everything by email a week before including our booking for room 7. On my arrival I was informed that the room had been given to another guest who had booked the room more times than I had and was offered another room upstairs, all I can say is a heated argument ensued and I was shown the door, then having to look for alternative accommodation. On looking back through earlier guest reviews this is a common occurrence. Obviously they are getting a better price for the room. So if you book early direct with the owner don’t take it for granted that you will get what you booked. The emails requesting cash payments have been forwarded on

  Perfect apartment for a family of 5. The hotel felt really private although they had other guests. More often we had the pool all for ourselves. We had our room arranged every day, but could of been better swept. We did not mind that too much, as we were also bringing sand from beaches. Maybe if they leave a broom in the room, we could do that.

  Lovely little hotel

  We stayed for two nights at the Dafnoudi Hotel, in room 9. Lovely clean and modern en-suite bathroom, small refurbished bedroom and kitchenette. Lovely pool with new comfy sun loungers to chill out on, and very friendly staff. Unfortunately we had trouble with the air conditioning in the room, it was getting up to 30 degrees in the day, and a loft room, so reluctantly we did leave the hotel as they were unable to move us to another room for the duration of our holiday. The owner very kindly got maintenance in to try and fix the problem. The hotel is also on the main road into Fiskardo and we found, with our room facing the road, that it was a bit too noisy for us, especially if we wanted the doors open at night. Otherwise really lovely little place to stay.Stone house taverna just a few minutes walk down the road, serves delicious traditional Greek food and would highly recommend. Fiskardo is beautiful, especially to sit and watch the yachts.
