Location

Located right on the sunset beach at Batubelig village in an unpolluted environment, tropical garden, lotus ponds, rice paddy field, clean private beach, village and temples. This is exactly what travelers have in mind when they dream of Bali. 15 Km from Ngurah Rai Airport, 6 Km to the Kuta area about 15 Km to Tanah Lot, the rocky temple.

Facility

100 suites are available to guests in a 4-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the 24-hour reception desk. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Guests of the resort are welcome to relax in the garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service (for a fee). Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Some rooms include a balcony. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee). A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball, fishing and horse riding. With jet skiing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, billiards, darts and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can dine in a cosy atmosphere at the restaurant (smoking area and high chairs). Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Great staff rooms were dated but for the price acceptable. Location is a tough one to get in and out of as traffic was next level. Give the breakfast a miss. They need to invest in a coffee machine . The Spa was a 10 out is 10 and I can highly recommend the room service Club Sandwich. As for the guests a lack of social awareness not getting out of the pool when you have had 20+ drinks is not ok. Manners don’t cost and a please and thank you go a long way

    Great hotel to stay in, room was clean and we had an additional bed for our daughter. Breakfast has a nice selection each day and if you don't want that, there are little bars just over the road to use.The pool is lovely, as are the pool staff who kept us topped up with great cocktails and snacks.There are some great places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, the traffic into main Seminyak can be long but worth it for a day out.Also try going to Kuta for a fun shopping day out.I loved the architecture of this hotel, it felt like we were staying in a temple and I half expected monkeys to come swinging past. There are some parts that need a bit of TLC (pool table, some flooring) but it did not detract from our amazing experience in such a lovely country.

    Quick hassle free break in old Bali

    Such a lovely old Bali hotel. Fab staff, sparkling pool, clean comfortable rooms with great aircon. Right on the beach next to the gorgeous Mari beach club (we couldn’t hear it in our room) and lovely little ocean view beach bars. Watch the waves while you eat a yummy breakfast. Easy walk on the beach to Seminyak or Canggu. Reasonably priced spa and restaurant.

    We stayed here for 5 nights from 11 May & stayed in room 413 with a sea view & could hear the sea all night . The beach is a few metres away from the hotel boundary & close to a few restaurants right on the beach There is a big pool & a pool bar & the restaurant overlooks the pool & the beach . Our room was very big & always kept nice & clean by the friendly staff . Spacious bathroom & shower which was a challenge at times , switching between hand held shower head & main shower. There was a bar fridge , a tv , safe & wardrobe space Breakfast had quite a variety of mostly local food , not the usual bacon & eggs although you could ask for eggs . Enough fresh fruit & variety to please most The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Seminyak & it can be challenging to get into centra Seminyak as Bali traffic is really bad. Gojek is the easiest & cheapest solution . There is a walkway along the beach which goes on forever although parts were washed away in recent rains. There are plenty of bars/stalls etc along the walkway to stop & chill & enjoy the sunset In general a good old solid hotel which could do with a bit of an upgrade

    Balisali Suites Hotel Very Disappointing

    We booked Balisali Suites on Booking.com; payment to be made at the hotel. At our midnight arrival we were told the price was ~4% higher despite showing the desk clerk our reservation. (The next day we contacted Booking and were told they had to honor the quoted price—the hotel refused to refund the difference.)Being shown the room, we found it warm. When I realized they did not know our arrival time, it was obvious the AC system had been running for some time. The remote setting was 16 yet it was probably 26. A maintenance man came and checked it saying it was operating at peak performance and would not get any cooler.Next, we logged into the hotel’s WiFi finding around 1.3 mb speed—and then only intermittently. I called the desk and was told the IT Guy would check it out at 9 am, at the same time the AC would be fixed. At 9, no one showed. I went to speak to the manager and was told “he’s on his way.” At 12, I checked again, “he’ll be here at 3.” At 3, “he got tied up but will be here soon.” The several times we passed the front desk, we were never given any updates.The WiFi did improve to ~5mb but it was still intermittent. WE did our important online activity at the reception desk. We learned to make do with the AC by keeping window shades closed, bathroom door closed and with only minimal lighting.We were so fed up that for the next day had we been offered a free night, we would have turned it down.Breakfast was acceptable. The setting was nice but would be enhanced by trimming trees to permit greater viewing of the beach.The grounds and pool are nice. There is a public road between the hotel and beach.I did not appreciate being strung along by the manager; however, every other staff member we encountered was very nice and wanted us to have a pleasant stay. WiFi throughout the property is confusing: ~60 at the reception area, ~30 at the pool, yet ~1.6 at the restaurant which was about 15 meters from the reception area.Overall, this hotel experience was one of the worst I can ever recall having.
