  Welcoming and warm

  This is a very late review that I’ve been meaning to write for a long time. I stayed here during my first ever solo trip, and it made a nerve-wracking experience absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for me. The hotel itself is beautiful, both inside and out, and in a quiet area but still in very close proximity to all the major sights (I walked everywhere easily from the hotel). The rooms are beautifully furnished - I’ve seen a couple of reviews mentioning the hard mattresses - yes, the mattresses are firmer than I am used to, but I was shocked by how good my back felt after just a couple of nights sleeping on it! Overall, this was a brilliant stay and gave me confidence for further solo travel, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome.

  This hotel has so much charm in its villa styled building with its classic touches and super staff. From start to finish you get the real feeling of Italian an warm welcome. Simon on the desk was super helpful and knowledgeable of local highlights.

  I highly recommend this hotel. It feels like an old mansion. The location is perfect. You can walk anywhere to see the amazing sites in Rome. Bed is comfortable, very clean, the breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff at the reception desk was great and very helpful.

  We stayed here for 7 nights. The room was spacious, the bed was ok but it was two single mattresses pushed together. The air con in the room wouldnt go lower than 22 degrees which made the room far to warm at times but luckily we had double doors out to a very small balcony we could open to cool the room down in the evenings. The cleanliness of the room definitely needs some work on arrival the toilet/bathroom were well below a standard I would expect. The hotel is in a quiet location which was nice as we slept pretty well. The breakfast room is small so on a couple of days we had to queue to wait for a table which is not ideal if you have a trip to go out for, I think the hotel definitely needs to look at adding more tables even if its in the sitting room next door just for busy times. The reception staff are really friendly and I couldn’t fault them. The hotel is close to the Borghese Gallery which is set in a lovely park which is great to have a walk around to get out the hustle and bustle. It’s takes 10/15 minutes to walk to the Spanish steps, 15/20 for the trevi fountain and 35/40 mins to the colosseum.

  Perfect Hotel in Rome

  The location of this hotel is Rome was perfect for us. It was away from the hustle and bustle of all the big Rome sights but close enough. We were able to easily walk to the Trevi Fountain. Also located by the American Embassy and Borghese Gardens. Our room was very comfortable. You could also access Netflix from the television. The breakfast was very delicious. There is an outside courtyard where we sat to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the night. There was a store across the street. We went to restaurants, San Marco restaurant that was up the street and it was so delicious. This hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed staying here. Excellent staff also. Highly recommend.
