  Absolutely terrible, not secure and empty.

  This was definitely the most horrible hotel experience I have had and I would recommend to everyone to not waste your money at this horrible place.When we arrived to our room, the air-conditioning was not working so we called reception and they got someone to have a look at it and they said it was running fine despite the room still being very hot and they did nothing further about it.When we used the shower and the tap in the bathroom the water pressure was terrible and was splashing everywhere. To get to our room, we had to be escorted by the lobby staff by car as all the rooms were far away so the staff told us to call reception when we wanted to get to the lobby. The next morning, we were wanting to get breakfast where the restaurant was located where the lobby was. We wanted to call the lobby but the telephone stopped working. We tried to re-connect it but it was just not working so we had to walk outside and all around to try to find staff who then had to call the lobby from their own phones to get someone to pick us up to get to the lobby and breakfast area. When we arrived at the breakfast buffet my partner and I were the only ones there. Clearly not many people stayed there and we went during peak season (During New Years). The whole place is very dated and creepy inside and out.Although it is advertised that there is free WIFI, when we got there, we were advised that there is only free WIFI at the lobby and not the individual rooms so that was VERY misleading. We confirmed with one of the hotel lobby staff about getting a refund before checking out after the first night - initially booking for 3 and they said to us that it was fine; once we left and requested for a refund they refused.Although the staff there were very friendly and helpful I would definitely not call this a "Luxury Villa".I do not recommend this place to anyone. Don't let the photos and name of this place fool you.

  Simply incredible !

  Our experience at Bali Castle was simply incredible. The rooms are spacious, the bath is huge, and the water in our pool was clear and clean. Our villa was cleaned every day. The staff were lovely and so helpful and smiling with us. The meals and breakfasts were perfect and very healthy. Many thanks to all of you for this fabulous experience. We miss you already!   Nice and very quiet, but in the middle of nowhere

  We booked this Vila only to be close to the wedding we had to attend. This is a very large property and the staff are extremely nice and friendly, but unfortunately there is nothing close by. You need a taxi to get anywhere, plus the traffic getting from here to places is mad! We only stayed here for two nights, otherwise I would have gone insane.They do give you a free ride into nearest "living" area, but again, unless you want to spend the whole time in your villa, I would not recommend it.I do have to give the credit to all the amazing staff members. They are so polite and always ready to assist.   Short visit

  My partner and I booked 2 nights here. Was extremely difficult to find, contact numbers didn't work, pool was out of order, didn't see a single other guest, didn't serve alcohol, fairly far from anywhere to go/anything to do. Really just a very weird vibe. We checked out early but now Expedia cannot contact them to discuss a refund for the nights we didn't stay.

  The villas are provide an air of spacious luxury in a secluded location away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, yet with available transport drop to beautiful beach around dreamland area..all the villas are pool villa , too far to called ocean view , just looks like a sky but the landscape are enough for sightseeing, In classical style, grandeur is foremost yet the functionality within the villas was not necessarily as expected but it's ok , their staff is always standby and anytime you call them , they are friendly enough. it's enough to spend your night or just lay down along day , oh ya they have spa and gym also , you can try that , not too bad Chateau De Bali U, Manager at Chateau de Bali, responded to this review Dear Mr Andy Z,Warmest greeting from Chateau de Bali,On behalf of management and team members of Chateau de Bali, please allow me to express our sincerest appreciation for your time to spend in writing a review through this forum.
