  Bugs, holes in linen, etc. Convenient but a very old building and the updates are so poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  We had multiple issues not resolved or resolved after multiple requests. Including stained bedding, missing towels, and broken toilet - had to keep fixing the chain for it to flush. Broken coffee maker in the room. Asked day person for an extra pillow, she said no problem...The night person said no extra pillows were available. Fire alarm needs a new battery, somewhere (not our room, but we can hear it).. It's been beeping constantly. Rooms are not as clean as they should be.

  The room was very nasty. I was over charged for my room. We live in the mountains and always stay here. Until this LAST visit. I still have not been reimbursed for the pet fee I was charged. I have a service dog with paperwork and a card and was charged $40. Which is ILLEGAL. I was also charged for 2 extra days. When I brought all of this to the owner's attention, he told us not to come back and we cannot stay there anymore. Go up the road 25 minutes to Greensboro at Quality Inn. The rooms are so much nicer and clean and CHEAPER!

  The pillows are super comfortable. The room was a good size slept well. The whirlpool bathtubs were really relaxing. It did take me a minute to figure out the shower and how the water temperature worked. The shower head isn’t the best but still decent. I did say the lack of lighting when you just use the light switch was disappointing as I had to turn on every light to see. (The light switch just controls one lamp) The breakfast is always ready on time and we’ll stocked. They will not mess with your room if your DND sign is up. They do a great cleaning as well.

  One of the best hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Excellent customer service and super housekeeping! Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was delicious and the manager Jay was a rare find in the hospitality industry. He ran a great property and great staff! We will be back and highly recommend!!!!
