  Amazing kid facilities and people

  Great for relax

  We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in September at the Grecotel Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park. Yes, it's true, the rooms are a bit rundown and need updating, but the hotel grounds are wonderful and the beach is breathtaking. Special thanks to the bar manager in the main building (sorry, I don't remember his name), who served excellent drinks and with whom we had interesting conversations. All the best to you and the rest of the hotel staff. We'll definitely be back!!!   Nice upgrade, amazing staff, would stay again

  We were upgraded to this hotel as we had booked another hotel on the resort that was then unavailable. This hotel is very good, and we were very happy with the upgrade. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff and provided with some free refreshing drinks, these were very good and much needed.The food at the main restaurant is some of the best I have had from a hotel, tasted fresh, and had variety. Our room was absolutely stunning, with views of the sea. Housekeeping were also very good and friendly. Staff were generally very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We had half board, which was breakfast and dinner. We found a few good places for lunch in the nearby village, which are very reasonable, so wasn't an issue for us. As the hotel wanted 770 euro to upgrade to their comfort package, which essentially included lunch and selected drinks. There were a couple of negatives that I did notice though. These being the cleanliness of some of the pools and near the toilets by the pool bar, not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The neighbouring Oasis hotel was closed as such we couldn't use their facilities. The bike rental was not open, as such we could not rent a bike. However, the hotel did offer us complimentary fruit and wine as an appolgy. We enquired about the archery which was included free with the hotel. However, we were told they were expecting rain and they would contact us for the next available slot, we were never contacted. The hotel removed the outside gym overnight, and with no warning, not great. They also closed the inside pool 3 days before we left. The inside gym is ok but is lacking in equipment, some cables would be a great addition as well as a squat rack. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay. If you are travelling here I would recommend traveling from Zakynthos then getting the ferry to Kylinni, then a taxi to the hotel as the airport in Kalamata is some distance away.   A Wonderful Stay Made Truly Special by the People 🌟

  We don’t usually leave reviews, but our recent two-week trip to Greece inspired us to share our experience because the team at this hotel genuinely went above and beyond.The journey from the airport is a bit long, and the hotel itself could use a little updating in places, but any small shortcomings were completely outweighed by the warmth and care of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and looked after.A few special mentions:Maria – greeted us in the restaurant morning and night with the kindest smile, arranging amazing tables and making every meal feel special.Katarina – the restaurant hostess, endlessly kind, funny, and welcoming. She brought so much joy to our stay.Nikos – at the beach bar, always took the time to chat and make sure we had everything we needed.Apostolis – at the pool bar, who never missed a beat and always had our “two beers” ready with a grin.Alesia – at the lobby bar, remembered us every evening and served with such pleasant warmth.Anthi – a lovely waitress in the main restaurant, always so warm and friendly.Stergious – serving across the beach, pool, and lobby bars, who kept us laughing with jokes about one of us being “The Boss.”Stelios – funny, friendly, and genuinely took the time to get to know us.Each of them played a part in making our holiday unforgettable.
