Location

This club resort is located in the heart of Jimbaran, only a few minutes' walk from the sandy beach of Jimbaran Bay. Kuta and Uluwatu temples are both around a 20-minute drive from the resort and Ngurah Rai Internatinoal Airport is approximately 10 km away.

Facility

The property includes 3 villas/houses as well as 13 rooms and 10 suites. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms include a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

No matter the wather, guests can always find refreshment in one of the 7 indoor and outdoor pools. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, golf, are offered at the hotel. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as canoeing and snorkelling. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, banana boat rides, sailing and diving. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, billiards, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, squash. A wellness area with a spa is available to guests. For a fee, massage treatments are also offered.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. Breakfast gives guests plenty of delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. Lunch (à la carte) and dinner (à la carte and a set menu) offer plenty of variety. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    Nice villa but unsure if the stay was good value for money

    It’s difficult to write a review for Jestate as while the villa itself was fantastic, other factors impacted on the overall experience. At over AU$530 per night, we came in expecting a certain level of customer service and experience, and we walked away feeling a bit disappointed given the money we spent. We booked Jestate as we wanted an affordable adults only villa with a private pool in Jimbaran, and this was one of the only options we came across that was suitable. Having stayed in Bali before at places for AUD$250-350 per night and experiencing incredible personalised service and a very high level of Balinese hospitality, we found that we didn’t get that here, despite paying much more. While the staff were pleasant, I got the impression it was family run accommodation and it was understaffed, as opposed to the villa we stayed at immediately prior, which provided a very high level of professional service in comparison. The check in and check out processes were slow and we were left sitting in the reception area wondering what was taking so long, and on both occasions we had to ask them to expedite what they were doing. There was no sense of urgency. The villa itself was fantastic, the gardens were quite big and the pool was great, and it’s this space you’re paying the premium for. I liked that there was two spots to sit by the pool and relax (either the individual sun lounges with umbrella or the double cabana which was completed shaded). The inside had a full living area with massive couch and the bedroom and bathroom were also spacious. The rooms weren’t brand new but were clean and in traditional Balinese style. Something that was strange is unlike other hotels and villas they didn’t provide complimentary bottled water (in pre sealed branded plastic bottles) but instead provided mineral water in reusable glass bottles. We are very concious of water while travelling in Bali so we only felt comfortable using this for brushing our teeth and otherwise bought our own water from the shop nearby. The breakfast was really nice (small serves but quality over quantity) and the meals we got from room service were also really good. Unfortunately the villa was impacted by quite a lot of traffic noise as the villa is located on an extremely busy road. In addition, there seemed to be a business nearby which had staff out the front talking loudly and cheering during most of the day which was extremely annoying. There are also local food markets across the road and the smoke from the open BBQs was so strong and thick that we could smell the smoke from the villa which was quite unpleasant. guest relation, Other at JEstate Villas & Guesthouses, responded to this review We are sorry that our boutique hotel was obviously the wrong choice for you. We have recorded the points mentioned and will discuss them internally, especially with our guest relations team. The satisfaction of our guests is definitely our most important goal. Our appologies if you had to wait a while to check in. During high occupancy and multiple guests arriving there may be a short wait in the lounge while you hopefully enjoy our homemade welcome drink completing the guest- registration. The price for this private pool villa (500 m²) ranges from $295 to $475 net depending on the season, including taxes and a quality à la carte breakfast served daily in the privacy of your villa. Our location is very central in the small village of Jimbaran, just 400m from the beach. Most of our guests love the location according to other reviews. Nearby there is a wide range of different restaurants and tourist attractions and last but not least the airport (without aircraft noise). Of course, advantages usually also have disadvantages and “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” For anyone interested in Bali we strongly advise to get as much information as possible in advance, today Bali is very diversified and can offer a positive and unforgettable experience for almost anyone. If you are looking for a “Bali experience from the past” you may want to choose a more remote location like Uluwatu, Ubud and Tabanan or Lovina. We do respect your personal opinon and are grateful that you also mention some of the many positive points we have to offer. We will continually improve our guest service.     Fabulous place to stay!

    A fabulous place to stay! We had the private pool villa and it was gorgeous! Lovely breakfast served to the villa each morning. Excellent service. Excellent English spoken.     Amazing end to our trip

    We finished our trip in Jimbaran for the final 2 nights of our honeymoon and JEstate Bali was the perfect end to our trip! A special thanks for Budi and the rest of the staff for making our stay so memorable, and going above and beyond! We were particularly grateful for the early check-in and late check-out! They also served the most delicious Nasi Goreng for breakfast which we had both days and it was definitely the best one we had tried during our holiday to Bali! We couldn’t recommend JEstate more and hope to visit again in the future!     Perfect honeymoon hotel

    Excellent stay! We had an amazing time staying at JEstate for our Honeymoon. Budi, and his team were fantastic and made us feel so welcome and were on hand to help with anything we needed. They also made the best Nasi goreng for breakfast!     This place is exceptional. Everything is artfully appointed and truly exquisite. The pool is gorgeous. The breakfast was fantastic.
