  Location is food on the main drag. Lots of really good restaurants, money changers , laundry, shops around. A bit of a trek is you want to walk to the beach. Lots of cabs and scooters around. Rooms are clean and spacious. Good for families as well. I did have a problem with water dripping from aircon. Reception was quick to send the maintenance man over and changed my room immediately. They sent a bowl of fruit to me for the inconvenience.   Fabulous staff memorable moments

  Lovely clean hotel. Nice breakfast selection. Pool was perfect for laps . Reasonably priced restaurant. The friendliest staff . Made Mum and my birthdays extra special by decorating the bed and I even got sung happy birthday by the staff at breakfast. The location was nice and central. We stayed in the junior suite which was huge. Free shuttle was a bonus going twice daily . The stand out was definitely the lovely staff, and I would stay there again and again. Thanks for making our trip so memorable.   We booked this hotel after staying at 2 other lovely places in Bali because it was close to the airport as we had a late flight. When we arrived we couldn’t check in as our room wasn’t ready so the staff offered to keep our luggage at the front desk for a few hours while we went out walking. When we came back we got the key and went to our room only to find someone else’s luggage. We told staff straight away and after much panic to find our stuff we had been given the wrong room key. They did apologise but I thought they may offer something for the confusion and panic caused to us. Free drink maybe? No. The room was very average and not clean, the windows Dont open so no fresh air. The fridge made a popping sound all night. Also the noise in the hallway outside the rooms is VERY loud and you can hear every suitcase being dragged down constantly. It echoes, so if you are after peace and quiet this place is definitely not for you. We had an awful night sleep. The pillows are very high and uncomfortable. The towels are brown, freyed and disgusting. The hotel advertises that the rooms are soundproof, that is definitely not true. Book elsewhere if you’re after a good nights sleep.   Amazing hotel and profesional staff. All the staff are friendly. The room is clean and bed was so comfy. Quiet room, the AC working properly.   Good and bad

  A bit of the good and the bad in this review. Firstly the hotel is very well located, there isn't really a central area as such so no matter what hotel you book you'll end up travelling around. However, this hotels location is good. About a 15min walk to beach area (potatoe head beach club), about 5min walk to some nice bars (ling lings) in one direction and about 5mins walk to some lovely restaurants in the other direction. The hotel is also close to some lovely cafes and a shop across the street. Its location is very good! The pool area is small, but we used it 3 or so times, and it was never busy. On one occasion, it was just us at the pool and felt like a private villa. However, the pool area is walled, so it gets no wind and does get very hot, meaning you can't spend a full day there. The hotel is clean,  the outside windows could do with a clean, and the seals around the shower could do with a bleach, but the hotel and rooms are clean. Our room was cleaned almost daily and they always left some bottles of water too, which is nice. The room is comfortable, a nice bed, a decent shower. It could do with a little more storage and not really sure why the door opens from the bedroom to the bathroom they way it does, but it's a nice room. However, we booked a deluxe room thinking it was a bigger room than we got. As we stayed in this hotel for 2weeks I'd recomend a bigger room for a longerstay. Staff are very friendly, always smiling and saying hello. The day time room in the restaurant is lovely and the service is excellent.Now the bad bits. Check in - we weren't really given any info. We were told 'if you lose your key there is a fine, no fruit, no animals' and that was it. We even went back to reception to ask about breakfast times and location, and only in our second week did we realise the hotel had a shuttle to the beach. Check in info could be vastly improved, giving more information. Breakfast. I wouldn't bother. Dry bread, stale pastries, fruit that always runs out, no tea. It's "ok" for a quick snack, but i wouldn't call it Breakfast at all. If you leave the hotel and turn left there are 2 nice places for breakfast about a 2min walk, and down the street to the right is a lovely breakfast spot. Eating out is cheap enough so even tho we paid for breakfast we only used it 3 or so times as found it very disappointing. Now the worst thing about this hotel. Noise! The hotel has no doors in the corridor so if someone is screaming and shouting at one end of the hotel you will hear it as it echos. The hotel should really have more doors to limit noise. We had a family on our floor spread across 3 or 4 rooms, they frequently left there doors opens having long and loud conversations and children playing in the corridors at 6am (!) We were woken up every morning by noise inside the hotel due to other guests shouting and screaming. Bali is very busy and noisy outside but our issues was with the noise inside! Also, staff frequently walk around on radio/walkie talkies which are very loud! Often wakes you up or disturb your rest. On one occasion, I opened the door to ask staff to be quiet while outside our room (they had woke me up). Finally, and rather strange, the restaurant woke us up by calling our room for breakfast! We asked them not too but it continued for 3days so we went to reception to ask them to stop. It stopped for one day then started again. The restaurant would call us at 9am, wake us up to tell us breakfast was ending soon. In the end I started unplugging the phone to stop it happening. House keeping would plug it back, and i would unplug again. Its very strange that a hotel would wake you up - in can tell the time, I'm an adult, if I want to come down for food I will but we didn't need to be woken up to be told this. I found this very strange but also annoying that I asked them to stop and they didn't. For the noise reasons, noise in corridors and staff lack of respect for noise, I wouldn't stay here again despite all the good points. Sleep and rest quality are very important to me and sadly this hotel is not suitable for that.
