    Basic Java Style Huts with wooden walls around a nice pool

    Quaint, tiny Java style wooden huts in a semi circle close together.No smoke alarms or fire extinguishers. If one hut catches fire all will.Not sound proof and there's a gap in the front double door entry that provides a clear view of the bed if a deviate is so inclined.No Visa or Mastercard at the retreatStaff don't speak EnglishCafe is a non event. No milk for a coffee ordered from the cafe.Free coffee and milk in the room is a joke. Two tiny Nescafe sachets.Bathroom is primitive and the retreat is poorly maintained.Very old uncomfortable mattress.However Kamoung Cenik does have a hundred-year-old tradition. Slightly difficult for drivers to find as it's in a little lane but there is a fantastic street food Thai cafe a couple of minutes down the lane.Caveat Emptor-Agoda has an insidious grubby little trick. High Taxes are added to the price you think you are paying.

    One of the best hotel that i've been in Bali We love to stay here because :Very quitte In the center city of KutaA lot of restaurant that u Can go by walk Very nice and beautiful decoration The staff Is very friendly and smiling ( Susi )We Will go back for sure !!!

    Have you ever wonder how is it like to live in the olden days? Like literally staying in an old wooden house in a kampong (village) in Sumatra or Borneo...This place is like a time capsule. Stay here if you appreciate the richness of culture not for the urban dweller that wants everything minimalist.It comes with some convenient amenities as well.

    We enjoyed our stay at Kampung Cenik immensely. Beautiful traditional Javanese house set in green and leafy gardens. Lovely pool area and quiet. A little out of the way..taxi required to go to Legian but Macdonalds and eateries just a 3 minute walk.The staff were lovely, very helpful and no issues at all.They were always happy to help in anyway and I recommend this little gem if you like it quiet.The Wi fi was fine, you just had to sit by the pool or in the lounge area.Loved the traditional house..Omah JogloThe staff were lovely and I highly recommend this hidden gem.

    I came across this hotel while searching for a place to stay during our last day in Bali. We planned only to stay at hotel, sit back and relax, so we want to find a special one. And I made no mistake. This hotel was very quiet, moreover there are only few guests staying with us. The hotel room is unique. It is all made of wood. The bathroom is spacious, and unique, too. The shower is made of bamboo, just like old traditional shower. The staffs are friendly and helpful, but it was a pity that no one there to welcome us when we arrived. The swimming pool is clean, surrounded by garden, it becomes beautiful. For the breakfast menu, you can choose among three. We chose American style. The scrambled egg was delicious, but the sausage is not. The bread was dry, too. I suggest you choosing Indonesian style. The smell of the fried rice is appealing. This hotel is near Krishna, a big shop of souvenirs.
