  Accommodation Disappointing, Breakfast Great!

  There were several problems with the room. One was the cleaning smell in the room was overwhelming. Just because it smells of cleaning product does not make it clean! There was a hole in the bedside table. The room had a shower over a bathtub which would have been fine but they put a shower curtain around it that wrapped around your body when trying to shower. I do not beleive that they change the shower curtain every time that a new guest stays so this was really disturbing and I refused to use it. So the water flooded all over the bathroom floor.   Best accomodation in Mt Isa

  I stayed here on a business trip, the room was clean, good amenities and the staff were friendly and curtious. free wine by the glass in the room and some water which is always a welcome sight after a long flight. There is a very good restaurant downstairs that accepts accor plus and discounts the meal.   What a great Hotel. Warm welcome by staff and Tony ( GM). Room was brilliant and Dinner in restaurant was amazing. Barista coffee for bfast was a treat.

  Pros - big room, comfortable bed, air conditioning works well and hotel is in a good location.Cons - shower curtain over bathtub, small hard bath towels, limited continental breakfast, needs a good refurbishment. Definitely not the standard expected of an Accor Hotel.

  Really Bad!!

  The house keeping was terrible. The bed was never made.The breakfast was a joke. We were there for 3 mornings and the same food was put out each day. The only fruit available was an orange. The pastries were 4 days old and stale. There was bread, available to toast but no plates to put it on.It cost over $22 per person.You would be better off pretty much anywhere else in town!The staff were all lovely.
