  Great people, great food, great place

  We spent two days at Karang Sari Guesthouse. The guesthouse feels very authentic and intimate. It is surrounded by shops for locals, which is a breath of fresh air. It’s the perfect place for a round trip on foot to the waterfalls and the rice fields (3-4 hours and 1.5 hours respectively).The staff is really helpful and will give you a map of things to see and do around the guesthouse, even find you a driver. The room is very charming with big windows with view on a beautiful little garden. The massages are really good as well. I like a firm massage and it was just right. Extra points for the restaurant, where the chef makes amazing Indonesian and Balinese food. We loved every dish we tried! There is also western food on the menu such as pasta, pizza and burgers but we unfortunately haven’t had the time to try everything!Would absolutely recommend.

  If you are in the north of Bali, please visit Karang Sari guesthouse! Reasonable prices, breathtaking views, and the best Nasi Goreng in Bali!! The staff here is incredible, so kind and help with anything you could possibly need. My favorite place we stayed in Bali so far. Thanks Karang Sari!

  Unbelievable Service and Super Friendly Staff

  Stayed one night at Katanga Sari Munduk in March 2019...low seasonDewi the Manager was most helpful but the real gem is Kadek the guide. I walked by myself with a map he gave me on the afternoon of my arrival and he escorted me the next morning to the 3 magnificent waterfalls nearby.His commentary on the plants, wildlife, local villagers was enthralling and maybe helped when I was huffing and puffing up the mountain sides. Great excuse for a break I thought was to ask him a question so that we’d stop.Rooms are clean and spacious. No aircon but you’re in the mountains. I love an early cup of coffee but no in room facilities for that cuppa When I left they gave me a snack pack and water for my trip back to the tourists and traffic of the “other” Bali

  People working here are so sweet, helpful, giving us a map to get to the waterfalls. Breakfast is not the highlight. The rooms are clean and well kept, get the lower ones further from the road and you will be all good. We stayed 4 nights.

  Excellent restaurant with authentic Balinese food

  This review is for the restaurant. The view is fantastic and the food was excellent, both for our party of 7 vegetarian people and for the only one meat eater with us. The food is prepared straight away, the veggies are fresh, even the little dressings are homemade. Simply amazing!
