    Our stay at Katak Tepi Sawah Resort in Canggu was a fantastic experience. The resort is tucked away beneath a busy street. Being shielded from the busy street gives the impression that this is a secluded spot in the midst of nature. Everywhere you look you find a lot of detail, true bali style. This resort is truly a paradise!The hospitality is exceptionally good. We were welcomed with a smile, a cold towel and a welcome drink. The hostesses, Mira and Tina, are kind and professional. Both speak good English and are incredibly helpful. The room attendant (we don’t know his name) is very friendly and takes cleaning very seriously! The rooms were thoroughly cleaned by him every day.The food is of an exceptionally high standard. The chef is an incredibly friendly man with tremendous talent for Balinese cuisine. It’s hard to find better gado-gado or nasi-goreng. We also loved the breakfast. The chef also conducts a cooking class. Don’t miss it! It’s very educational if you’re interested in cooking Balinese dishes at home.We had a couple of amazing massages! The staff at the spa is very professional. The excellent service might be due to all the staff being trained by the owner himself at the TIPS hospitality school.Finally, our villa. We stayed for four nights in "The Edge." It was a delightful experience because, as mentioned above, it was very clean. Additionally, there is good air conditioning and a large swimming pool in this villa. The beds are very comfortable. Everything is beautifull and there is a lot of detail. A true balinese experience. The only downside is that we coule not get the locks on the doors to work. Also, the safe was not working. However, this was not a problem for us because the entire staff is very trustworthy and we felt very safe!Next time when we visit bali we want to stay longer!

Indra, our patient and knowledgeable driver, not only ensured our safety but also engaged in fascinating conversations about Balinese culture. He's clearly a cherished member of the KTS family.Unlike the cookie-cutter resorts, KTS balinese Villas offers a rustic elegance. The natural ambiance extends to the cafe and the bar, creating a space that feels instantly comfortable. The heavenly massages are a must-try - a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.True to Balinese tradition, the property features beautiful statues of Hindu deities, adding to the holistic atmosphere. Daily ceremonies further immerse guests in the rich culture.Perhaps the most special aspect is the sense of community.     What a place from the wecome holy water drink as your arrive to all the staff.Yunek, Indra, Mira and the rest of the team was so so helpful. They couldn't go out the way enough, nothing was a problem for them was so helpful.Place Is clean and highly recommend anyone to stay at this villa. Comfortable beds and relaxing rooms nice showers and pools cannot go wrong atall thanks again J.P

    We had a really pleasant stay at KTS and it was a mix of the location, the food and the beautiful staff there that made it so magical. Our rooms were modern and impeccably kept and yet it was rustic like we were in the Balinese countryside, with forests and paddies on the doorstep of the villa. The staff were so amazingly nice; we made friends with them over the few days there and they were so attentive and genuinely caring. The owner, Mr Sudi is training his staff to further their careers and it was a real pleasure to help just by chatting in English with them. Two of our group ran an on-the-fly English class that the staff attended and really appreciated.The food was simple yet delicious. We tried the much of the menu and were never disappointed. The villa even runs cooking classes but unfortunately with didn't avail of this. We did have massages though and they were sooo good. The villa organised driver to take us 10mins down the road to Canguu and to the airport for a reasonable price. We even had a Wayne's World moment with our driver, Ketut when Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio!5 stars from me. I'll go back some day for sure.Big thank you to Dewa, Reddi. Partini, Putra, Yoga, Ketut, Tiara and Artha, Mr Nyoman Sudi and Miss Lilly Sangitha (pardon my spelling) for a really beautiful holiday.
