    A quiet oasis just off the main drag. This being my second stay , 2025 & 2026. this time booked for entire month, that's how content I am to stay here. Great location central to main road in Sanur, walkable to Icon, walkable to the beach. Walkable to many restaurants and bars. Walkable to a fabulous Yoga studio KOA. Charming friendly and caring atmosphere.Rooms and Resort are impeccably cleaned and well appointed , photos are a true reflection. Good value and correct price point. All the staff work hard to please guests nothing is too much trouble.I have stayed in 2 different suites and both reflective of advertised photos. I have also booked a Villa for my next stay. Good wifi in rooms and poolside. Comfortable bed. Good air-conditioning. Good sized pool. I have no complaints.Perfect for me.

    When is a Confirmed Booking a Booking!!!

    I had a confirmed booking through Agoda for a 9-night stay in a 2-Bedroom Private Villa in early September 2025. Shockingly, just five days before my arrival, I was informed by the management of the villa that it had been overbooked ( due to glitches in their booking system!!) and my confirmed reservation would not be honored.This level of mismanagement is unacceptable. Guests make confirmed bookings in good faith, often months in advance, and to cancel at such short notice shows a complete disregard for professionalism and guest care. The disruption and stress caused by this last-minute cancellation cannot be overstated.Agoda, to their credit, were very responsive and helpful in assisting me, and they provided a small monetary compensation. However, the root of the problem lies entirely with the villa’s management. Their lack of responsibility and respect for confirmed guests raises serious concerns about booking this property.Future travelers should be very cautious — confirmed reservations here clearly cannot be relied upon.I for one, will not be booking Katala Villas in the future!!

    Everything was good. Lovely villas, spacious, clean and tidy. Pool was excellent. We stayed in twin villas and pool area was great. Location was good, 5 minutes to main street and restaurants. Beach was another 10 minutes. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was only average.

    Great very peaceful place to stay, lovely gardens, wonderful and very helpful staff even when arriving at 1am in the pouring rain. We stayed in a suite which was generous in size, comfortable bed, good air conditioning and private. Easy walk to the main shopping street and then onto the beach. Nothing is a problem - would highly recommend- breakfast delicious
