Location

This hotel is situated close to the coastal village of Pekutatan on the west coast of the island of Bali. It is located on the stunning 13 km stretch of nearly untouched black and silver beach and is approximately 2 hours’ drive from Ngurah Rai Denpasar International Airport.

Facility

A private atmosphere awaits guests in 10 villas/houses. This resort has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a currency exchange service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge, a tea/coffee station and a dishwasher. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers cycling/mountain biking. With snorkelling or, for a fee, banana boat rides, sailing and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a steam bath. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. In addition to breakfast, the complex also offers lunch and dinner à la carte. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    This hotel is a true paradise between the ocean and the coconut tree landscape. I was looking for a place where I could combine relaxation, wellness, and spirituality, and this is truly THE place. The beach is all yours; I enjoyed running there every morning and evening The room are spotless and really decorated with Balinese handcraft. The food is excellent, the massages are deeply relaxing with a beautiful view of the ocean, and the service is outstanding. Everyone does their very best to make you feel at home and to respond to all your needs.I also really appreciated how committed the resort is to plastic recycling and environmental responsibility. The private yoga teacher is fantastic: she adapts each session to your personal needs and level, offering unique one-to-one yoga classes and beautifully guided meditations. The driver and guide are also very knowledgeable, helping you to discover the spiritual and cultural richness of the area.I felt so happy to have found such a paradise that I decided to extend my stay by five extra nights before my departure. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to truly experience authentic Balinese life.

    Lovely romantic stay at the Kelapa retreat

    After a very active honeymoon traveling through different parts of Indonesia, we wanted our last few days in Bali to be calm, romantic and close to nature and this hotel was exactly what we had hoped for.From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, waking up to palm trees and sea views, and spending slow mornings in our private pool villa made it incredibly easy to switch into complete relaxation mode.The villa itself was beautiful and very thoughtfully designed, with many little details that made it feel special and cozy rather than just luxurious. We especially loved the outdoor bathroom, the comfortable bed and the amazing ocean view.What truly stood out to us, though, was the kindness of the staff. Throughout our stay they surprised us with small thoughtful gestures and always made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere of the whole property felt warm, personal and very sincere.We also treated ourselves to a massage at the spa by the beach, which ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. Hearing the waves during the treatment while looking out at the ocean was such a relaxing experience.The area around the hotel was also perfect for us. We spent our afternoons at the beach, explored the coastline by scooter around sunset and even went bodyboarding directly in front of the hotel. For surfers, one of Bali’s best surf spots is only a short drive away. A very special memory was our spontaneous visit to the nearby turtle sanctuary, where we were able to help with newly hatched turtles before watching them make their way into the sea.The breakfast buffet and food offered at the restaurant were all fantastic and of high quality. We had our airport transfer organized by the hotel, it is a bit of a drive but absolutely worth it.

    Quite and beautiful place. the Local people are incredibly nice and helpful. i have never encountered such a beautiful attitude before. the rooms are clean and cozy. The Food is high quality and very tasty. i felt completely calm here. An Ideal place to relax. Thank you to the staff for their care and hospitality.

    Paradise Away From the Crowds

    I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kelapa Retreat. The location is simply stunning, long sandy beaches, hardly any people for miles, and such a peaceful atmosphere. If you want to avoid crowded tourist spots and truly relax, this is the perfect place.I stayed in the Garden Pool Villa, which was unbelievably beautiful. The room itself was amazing, and the privacy made it even more special. Everything around the retreat is lush, green, and beautifully maintained.What stood out the most, though, was the incredible staff and the whole team. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and always ready to help. The communication was excellent from the beginning, and I always felt very well taken care of. The team truly went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.The food was also unbelievably good, and the excursions offered by the hotel were very well organized. I joined the snorkeling tour and it was absolutely beautiful. I saw so much and everything was perfectly arranged. The spa was also amazing and incredibly relaxing.Another thing I really loved was that every day the hotel offered different complimentary activities, from hikes and dance classes to cooking classes, so there was truly something for everyone.Overall, everything was simply perfect, and I can highly recommend Kelapa Retreat to anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and a truly special getaway.

    Heaven on Earth

    Heaven on Earth. Kelapa retreat is by far the best place both me and my wife have ever been to. The staff is incredible, helpful, friendly - that word doesnt even cut it. They are always smiling, welcoming their guests and genuinely caring for their wellbeing. The retrat offers free activities such as a cooking class, yoga class, bonfire night as well as paid experiences that are definitely worth a try, at an affordable price. We took two trips - snorkelling and Ubud full day tour. Both were 10/10. Transportation is also provided, with a spacious, clean and air conditioned car. The driver speaks English and is happy to explain Balinese culture. He even took us to a temple and a supermarket upon out request at no extra charge.I wholeheartedly recommend Kelapa for couples who want to enioy nature, immerse themselves into Balinese culture and enjoy a culinary experience.
