    room 324

    rating02 May 2026

stayed here a few times when the price has been ok , couldn't fault it this year , room was clean but dated corridor was bright and well lit, food was what you expect for the price you pay , you wont starve, beer was good , staff are always great (with 2 exceptions , 2 bald barmen are rude and arrogant) , had an issue with a hairdryer that was replaced in a matter of hours , all in all it ticks the box , if your pretentious go to melia where they will happily take your cash , thanks to the Cervantes/ leonardo staff

    Very hot uncomfortable room

    rating29 Apr 2026

Hotel is in a good location, one of the reasons we booked was because of the sky bar which wasn’t open! and the pool was freezing, Our room was on the 8th floor and the view from our balcony was the roof and the hotel sign! The air con was almost non existent and when I asked for a fan to hire they didn’t have any. The maintenance man then told me the air con is only on from 3pm-midnight, so hot at night we couldn’t sleep, must be unbearable in July & August! Booked 5 nights but stayed 3 as we couldn’t bear another uncomfortable sleep. When I informed reception staff we were checking out early they didn’t seem to care.

Less 4 Star more Blackpool B&B

    rating28 Apr 2026

This is my 4th stay here. I choose the hotel for it's location to everything I need and the ease to Málaga Airport. But this will be my last stay. It's now under new ownership... Leonardo Hotels...I think. I know the hotel can't vett everyone staying but the hotel feels like it's becoming more a groups and party destination. As I write this 6.30pm there's a group of men on their balcony, music blearing out, all shouting and no doubt under the influence. Surely the hotel must adopt a no loud music on balconies policy. It sounds like a football match.I've noticed today there's quite a few young children I just hope these men modify their behaviour for the sake of all guests. It's quite horrendous listening to it. My opinion is if you're looking for a quiet hotel this isn't one of them.

    Earplugs a necessity

    rating24 Apr 2026

Whilst the hotel is graded 4 star..I think this is based on the facilities that might be available....and certainly not on the levels of comfort and service. It is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in..... constant jabber jabber of hundreds of adults and youngsters....no sound diffusion...PLUS constant background music. The restaurant has the atmosphere of an army camp canteen. You can barely hear yourself think...for the noise.Great central position, some excellent staff...but some soooooo grand ....why do they bother. Pool area is good too. I hope Leonardo introduce some finer touches of decor and soundproofing and decide exactly what clientele they want to attract. What a shame....but earplugs are a necessity.

This is advertised by many sites as the Gran Cervantes by Bluesea. Leonardo now owns this establishment. Brand lovers beware.

Vast hotel with large areas of poorly used space. Would benefit from a major refurbishment in many areas. The restaurant is best described as chaotic, with food stations scattered throughout the room, making meal choices unnecessarily problematic. The rooftop pool is nice, though restricted to between 11 am and 6 pm, meaning those of us who like early morning swims can not use this facility. Situated very close to Torremolinos centre and the train station, it is also a long way from the beach area, so guests should choose their preferences before booking. I stayed for 3 nights, room only and was disappointed you could not buy lunch or evening meal at the hotel, only breakfast.
