  Couldn’t recommend this hostel more! The hostel itself has such a peaceful atmosphere but also has great communal spaces for socialising! They were also super helpful with booking my Mt Batur hike, bus & ferry transfer to Gili T etc. The rooms are super clean and coupled with the pool and free breakfast makes it such good value for money. As a solo traveller I met wonderful people here, and thanks to Waya and his lovely family I had my favourite stay in Bali!

  Perfect place to stay for a relaxing time in Ubud

  Such a welcoming hostel! The staff were so friend and always happy to help. The pool was gorgeous!!! A super relaxing place to stay! You can rent bikes and book all activities at reception. Free breakfast and walks in the morning. Rooms were spacious. A bike ride away from the main road with restaurants/ bars etc which added to the peacefulness of this hostel.

  We stayed here as a group of 4 backpackers and loved it. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. Pool was very nice. The family that run Lagas are also so lovely and helpful - we were able to arrange a few tours through them, and they were always friendly and smiley. Plus, free breakfast and drinking water :)

  Great chilled place for a solo traveller

  I recently stayed 3 nights at Lagas Hostel and had a great time. The hostel was fairly chill but also had lots of solo travellers so it was super easy to chat and meet like-minded people who I could share tours and dinners with. I love that the owner Wayan is so involved with his family- he has a big colourful portrait painting of himself as you come in that showcases the character he is. I had a great stay and managed to book both the Mt Batur hike and a day trip around the coffee plantation, waterfalls, temples and rice fields which Wayan personally hosted driving us around on mopeds. Great stay and highly recommend for a solo traveller in Ubud. Thanks Wayan and family :-)

  Amazing Stay. Warm, friendly hostel!

  Me and my friends planned to stay here for 2 nights and extended for an extra three. The owner Wayan, and all the staff are so welcoming and helpful. We booked the rice field trek, water rafting & Mt Batur trip. All great experiences at reasonable prices. Very chilled atmosphere. Would 100% reccomend.
