    We stayed here for the second time recently and enjoyed the same level of fantastic service as we had three years ago. In addition, the spa services and restaurant were wonderful additions since our last visit. We enjoyed breakfast each morning in the restaurant and had room service a few times during our stay. The two-bedroom villa was beautiful and we enjoyed both the outside dining, lounge and pool space as well as the two air-conditioned bedrooms.     Exceeded our expectations

    We loved our stay here and were sad to leave. Service was great and extremely friendly. Our villa and all the common areas exceeded our expectations. Pool area was beautiful, although small, but totally enough for everyone, 'cause mostly everyone was in their villas i think. Everywhere was clean, green and stunning. Services (minimarket, spa, gym, cafe, restaurant) are right next door and a wider range of options are within walking distance, although Canggu is not a very walk-friendly place. The room was spacious and cozy. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and you could also put a mosquito curtain around the bed if needed. The shower had good pressure and in addition to the rain shower, there was also a hand shower and tap, which made washing much easier. We also had enough hot water all the time.The air conditioning in our villa was quite noisy, so earplugs were essential for a good night's sleep. In the evenings and especially on weekends, there is also a short fireworks display from the beach, which did not bother us though.Because it's Bali, you should be aware that there are small lizards and crabs living in the shower rooms. Spiders and other small insects may also visit, but hardly any mosquitoes thanks to the daily poisoning. If you need privacy to use the bathroom, it's worth checking if they have a more private villa available. In our villa, there was glass and a door between the bedroom and the bathroom/toilet, but you can only close them with a partial curtain. This wasn't a problem for us though.     TRAVELLERS PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER FOR YOUR SAFETY PLEASE!!!

    This was the most horrific unhygienic unprofessional stay I’ve EVER experienced in my life. I booked through flight centre that confirmed this was a safe place to stay as a trip for my birthday and it was the stay from hell. I am genuinely scarred from this experience.Where to start, the place was so filthy and even after requested the room to be cleaned they used a broom only and re-folded our dirty towels from swimming in Bali water thinking we wouldn’t notice the stench. They left off food in our villa for 4 days attracting bugs and stench in our living room, oh and we can’t forget the RAT INFESTATION!! while sleeping in the bedroom and when we called for help they said to deal with it and it probably ran away. Poisonous spiders walking around the villa. The private pool is NOT filtered, the safe does not work and they keep keys with them so leaving valuable items is very risky. NO Hot water at all so you will only have freezing cold showers. Room service you will get Bali belly, the restaurant attached to villa had also given us Bali belly even after taking travelern medicine and they still wanted us to pay after projectile vomiting and paying $550 AUD for a nurse and drip to our room. To the point where we cut our trip short and even after attempting to checkout 3 days earlier they wanted us to pay almost $800 for food that made us sick - massages that they offered as compensation which we did not use or accept as it doesn’t justify what they put us through and after not accepting they still forced us to pay the bill keeping us hostage until paid. I’ve never felt so unsafe, unsanitary and ripped off.For you or your family or friends please do not stay here because you will sincerely regret every minute. From the food to the staff to the rats the unhygienic the cold showers everyday; they didn’t even give us filtered water once we had to purchase ourself everyday when they promised they bring one everyday.If I can help atleast one person or family with kids from making a decision and using hard earnt money please go anywhere else. Ontop of alllll the worst things to happen happening there also an hour or more away from literally everything in Bali, not a single thing I can say was decent. NOTHING.it’s really upset me and given me the worst birthday experience I’ll never forget I’m genuinely scarred from this. I broke down in front of them from how disappointed and unsafe I felt and they kept me and my friend hostage because all they cared about was talking more money from us which even though we knew wasn’t fair we paid it to leave the country safely as we felt at risk from them. I have all recordings of conversations from them admitting everything and even with that we were still forced to stay in villa till they took more money from us. I will be making a law suit when I arrive back to Australia. It’s honestly left a bitter taste as a first timer in Bali and was so eager to embrace the culture do more activities but because of them I have to cut my holiday short and I’m 10 thousand dollars less.     DO NOT STAY HERE! WARNING TO ALL TRAVELLERS!The most terrible experience I’ve ever had in my life not only does the hot water not work the entire villa is infested with rats and spiders. The pool pumps don’t work and you will get Bali Belly from the room service food they are very unhygienic I have expressed concerns I had to leave 3 days earlier and upon leaving was held hostage and they demanded that I pay 750 Australian dollars after all the bad experiences I had and complaints I made. They refused to refund the remaining days and give a receipt until I had started recording them holding us hostage inside their office. DO NOT STAY HERE I CANT EXPRESS IT ENOUGH IT IS VERY UNSAFE AND UNHYGIENIC I will be posting a TikTok video soon of all recorded conversations they had denied to flight centre there is a rat infestation but through messages and recorded calls admitted to finding a couple of rats in our bedroom. It is not worth the price, your life or your safety. The next day then our team doing deep cleaning along with the pest control team and finally got the rat was dead already around the bathtub area. As a gesture of apologize then we give complimentary 1 hour massage for both of you.Then you also complaint about hot water and our Engineer do check it and says that there is no problem with the equipment and the installation. Our procedure is to set the maximum temperature 70 degrees Celsius due to safety reason and it will take 30 minutes to refill the tank if it empty. All the information is well informed to you.You then also complaint about the pool machine, and our engineer take action by change it with the other ones which is works properly.We found also that you always put Do Not Disturb Sign in front of the villa and sometime refuse to get the service once we offer it. From the record also that you skip to having breakfast in our restaurant which is located in the middle area next to the main pool and you are preferring to get breakfast outside.The restaurant next to the lobby that you visit is not belong to us, that also make your complaint about the food is not relevant to us.We have also done communication with your agent and update the action and follow-up that we have made to pampering your stay. All the action is made less than 24 hours.Once you decide to do early check out then we are following the standard that guest should settle the outstanding bill before leaving property. You have extra bill around IDR 7 million and insist not to pay and want to balance it with the remains 2 night's stay but unfortunately, we cannot accept it because we got your booking from the travel agent therefore you need to report to them related to your concern and for sure that they will communicate with us based on the booking terms and conditions. You cannot accept the explanation from the team and insist not to pay. After long discussion then we give you 25% disc on your bill, and you then accept it. We are following all the standard and do it professionally, but your respond is also inappropriate and try to provocative the other customer and also sends intimidate message to our team and try to do black campaign by saying that our organic customer review is a fake review.     We are a family of four and just stayed the last 3 nights at Lalasa Villas - Canggu. This was the final part of our holiday in Bali and it was a relief to land in this oasis amongst the busy of Canggu. We stayed in a 2 bedroom royal pool villa. Outstanding facilities, and very attentive and welcoming staff. Facilitated an early check in and late check out that made our transit days more comfortable. Onsite restaurant was great for inclusive breakfast, or when we were content to laze around our private pool or the resort infinity pool for lunch. Short walk to the beach and local shopping and restaurants/bars. Highly recommend!
