Location

The complex is located in the heart of Legian near the shopping district and entertainment area. The Legian art market and Kuta beach are both in the immediate vicinity, while Denpasar is 30 minutes away by car. In addition, it is just a 20-minute drive from the international airport.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 86 rooms. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. We have stayed here before in past years. Disappointed with the one bed villa with private plunge pool. Clean enough, but shower takes 10 mins to get hot, no buffet breakfast, American breakfast a bit hit and miss. One morning all I got was 2 eggs. I had to ask for the toast. Water leaking from a power point after raining. Kitchen not open until 7am, so couldn't get milk for coffee in the room before then but was able to buy from a circle K just down the road. Bed was comfortable but pillows need to be changed as they smell mouldy. We have asked for the manager for 4 days but we're told no manager and they didn't know when the manager would be in. Staff are friendly but unable to understand English as well as previous visits. Location is good though and the private plunge pool was kept clean. Not sure if I would stay again unfortunately.

Went to the Losari restaurant a couple of times for lunch. They do a really nice sandwiches and chips. If you have eaten enough satay, don't get me wrong I love the local food, but very now and then when I am over seas, I just feel like something that resembles home. It is not that I am home sick - or maybe for an hour or two I am? Well this place fills that spot. Serves nice refreshing drinks and know how to make yummy sandwiches and crisp chips, like you would get at home in a café. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was filled with lots on cooked chicken pieces. Tables are either street side or pool side. The swimming pool separates the dining from the accommodation. Prices are good. So if you have a lunch/ brunch craving for a sandwich, this place is worth a try. Never stayed here, never eaten local dishes here. Both times I visited, there were quite a few tables occupied, all eating the chicken sandwich and chips, bookings not required cost was about $4.50AUS, for the sandwich and chips as a meal.

The Losari is in a great location. The staff are friendly but with limited English. The best thing are the pools. The rooms are dated. The beds are hard and the pillows lumpy. The towels are old and not good enough for humans. Hopefully by next year some upgrades would make this the place to be.

Great location and loved being on Garlic Lane.Room was quite nice. Went to open complimentary bottle of water, only to find chewed up chewy stuck on the bottle. Walked in to the bathroom and saw the most disgusting non slip bath mats with black mould underneath.Had to shower with thongs on.Next morning I went to arrange moving rooms but was told they were full, which they weren't. Even after showing photos of the chewy and mould, they didn't show much concern. I asked if mats could be changed but got told 'sorry, shower broken.'Next day they offered an upgrade to another room at my cost but then that turned into more and more money and not worth the battle. Not staffs fault but language was a barrier. Breakfast was very ordinary as were their lumpy pillows, all 4 of them and the next 2 also that I asked for to replaced the lumpy ones. Been to beautiful Bali many times and have stayed at other motels the same price but much better.

Have stayed at the Losari before but this time was disappointed. Already knew that the pool was going to be cold but the weather was cooler than normal for this time of year, the pool was too cold to be enjoyable of course not the hotels fault. Breakfast wasn't as good as we remembered. The service from the bar was barely there. The room started to smell after a few days. Great location on Garlic Lane, we cut our stay there short and moved to another hotel.
