    A beautiful boutique hotel with a french feel. We stayed as a family of 4 with adult children in a Magnolia Suite. The room was lovely and spacious with a sitting room and tea/coffee making alcove dividing the two rooms. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom included good quality shampoo/conditioner and body lotion. Tea/coffee making facility included a coffee pod machine. Staff provided an iron on request. The pool area and restaurant were lovely with the only downside there is not much sun around the pool in the afternoon. All, in all we had a lovely stay. Location was great, short walk to the beach and great restaurants.     We have just ompeted a four night stat at Maison Aurelia in Sanur . We have visited Sanur many times but never stayed here mainly as it is not on the beach . We were very impressed with this hotel for several reasons . The service & staff were excellent at all times , our room was beautifully decorated & furnished , and the towels & bed linen were first class .     Location great, restaurants all around, staff pleasant, bikes to borrow, very clean toilets, amenities.     Maison Aurelia is my home away from home. Thank you so much to lovely Pauline and her team. It’s clear that the wonderful team at Maison Aurelia strive for excellence in every way and their attention to detail is only exceeded by my appreciation.The rooms are beautiful, super clean, generous in size and tastefully decorated (true to the photograph online). The bed is so comfortable and I always look forward to sleeping well here. The location is central, close to everything and very convenient.Thank so much to all the staff for their, warmth, care, kindness and generosity!     Comfortable Stay with Friendly Service, but Some Room for Improvement

    The room was spacious and comfortable, and the room service staff were very friendly and helpful. I understand that the pool and gym are small, which is fine for a boutique-style hotel. However, the jacuzzi wasn’t working properly, and the bathroom was quite small, with the shower drain not flowing well.The location would be excellent if it weren’t for the ongoing construction on the main road. One downside was that the live music from the nearby bar was very loud at night — the noise continued until around 11 PM, which made it hard to relax.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but a few maintenance improvements and better soundproofing would make it much better.
