    Manggar Indonesia ReviewRoomA small basic room was all we needed for a half day stay. 2 single beds, Tv, drinking water bottles. More of a traditional style hotel. The room comes with an airer to dry wet clothes outside. PoolThe small/mid size pool in the centre of the hotel was just enough. Water temperature was cool and fresh. Limited lounge chairs available around the pool. LocationWe chose to stay here the day we left as we had a very late flight. The hotel is located in a quiet street, but a short distance to the airport. The hotel offered complementary airport transport which was great. At the end of the street, you can access shops like convenience stores, massage parlours, restaurants. OverallThis is a good budget friendly hotel if you are looking to stay near the airport. Restaurant available in the hotel.

    Would not rate this place. We used only as transit room before a late flight but unfortunately paid more for a ground floor room for easy access to the pool. Room smelled of mold, bedding felt damp. Bathroom had a wet floor around toilet on arrival with moth balls in and around the water. No hand towels. No cutlery. Shower is a bath with hand spray. One of the staff had a squeaky toy and continually squeeked it at guests by the pool and then proceeded to walk back and forth from pool to reception squeeking the toy.

    rooms are very dusty, walls are dirty, but the real problem is the mold in the walls and in mattresses. it is a health risk to overnight longer in these conditions. people at receptions also behave not ok: initially promised a late checkout option if rooms available (needed to waiting time to my flight), but on the day the receptionist women refused late checkout as hotel was apparently full. It was not true, rooms available in booking.com. I had to pay another booking just to have a room for the few hours. Very disappointing, that's not a was to treat customers.

    Convenient Stopover but Needs Renovation

    Very convenient to the airport and the hotel pick up/drop off service is a cheap and efficient way to move around. Short walk to nearby restaurants and shops if you're looking for a meal either side of transit. Staff were friendly and the outside area around the pool looked good but as mentioned in other reviews the rooms themselves our quite run down. Our particular room was basic but OK overall however the bathroom was moulded and the toilet swayed a bit when used. If you understand the condition of things it's fine for a convenient stop over point but I wouldn't recommend for a long stay.

    Bad Experience at hotel manggar in Kuta-Bali

    My stay at Hotel Manggar in Kuta Bali was utterly disappointing. The experience was horrendous.Upon checkout, I was shockingly charged an extra 25,000 for alleged bloodstains on the pillow, which, by the way, were not even mine. If I had indeed experienced nosebleeds, I would have been the first to acknowledge it. However, the manager callously insisted on payment for linen spotting, disregarding any sense of reason or fairness. In all my travels, I have never encountered such a blatant attempt at extortion.It's not merely about the insignificant amount of 25,000; it's about the sheer audacity and lack of integrity displayed by the hotel staff. I refuse to be taken advantage of in such a manner. I assure you, I am not fabricating this story. Had I been responsible for the supposed stains, I would have reported it to the hotel management myself.If you have any intentions of staying at Hotel Manggar in Kuta-Bali, proceed with caution. Be prepared to be exploited for even the slightest mishap. Additionally, the bathroom facilities were disgustingly outdated and filthy. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this establishment. There are countless other options in the area that are undoubtedly superior.
