    It doesn't exist anymore!

    rating11 Jun 2018

I just saw that someone gave me a thumbs-up for one of my photos of this accommodation and I want to let people know that this place doesn't exist anymore. In July 2015 we went there for one night in a different room and we had to move to a different accommodation in Ubud because there was a massive reconstruction work going on: they were building a new hotel not bungalow-style.

    Leeches

    rating11 Oct 2015

Staff were friendly and helpful, however the actual state of the accommodations left much to be desired. The cottage was rather dirty and dusty and the bedding was unclean. When the anti mosquito spray was being distributed, there was no way to stop it from getting inside as it simply came through the walls and as a result everything became greasy as well as dirty. In addition, there were many leeches in the bathroom, which made showering a terrifying experience. While this probably could not be helped, due to the nature of the climate, it was still rather unpleasant, especially when combined with the rest of the bugs that were everywhere. Wifi connection could only be obtained while seated next to the pool and powerpoints within the room were inconvenient and dangerous looking.

    Dirty, unprofessional and selfish service

    rating20 Aug 2015

Even though Ubud is a city full of forest and insects may be something you have to face, I think that hygiene is so other thing. In this place, my room (Jupiter) was not only full of ants and other insects but very dirty since I arrived. They are renovating the facilities, or better said, adding a new building. The old facilities might remain as they are.Very expensive private drivers for tours who will take where they get higher commission instead of the places you want to go. And 'don't worry, everything's good'.They helped me to book a fast boat to Lombok but they told me it was fully booked at my desired time, 11am, so I had to go at 7am. I didn't accepted that and booked it by myself at 11, saving money and being able to attend an appointment with Made at Nur Salon.I don't really understand how Lonely Planet can recommend this place in its guide. There is a place right next to Matahari, called Krishna, cheaper as far as I know and looking better from the outside.

    Awful!

    rating08 Jun 2015

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I booked the Batavia room. Yuck! Walls were flimsy (made of woven cane), mattress was damp, bedding stale. Breakfast made me ill. Very disappointing.
