    Just returned from a 2 week stay in My Villa and resort Canggu. Firstly the property was described as a contemporary villa which is a little misleading. The property offered a private pool and was described as a villa. This property is more a home stay. Three separate rooms and a seperated kitchen with no living room area. I had 2 young children with us so they had to sleep in segregated rooms which was a little concerning at first. The rooms were lovely,spacious and clean with lovely ensuite facilities, fridges and a tv in all three rooms.The staff were very friendly and helpful and kept the property clean on a regular basis. The property was private with us all able to enjoy the swimming pool. The location was ideal and quiet and peaceful despite the very busy area of Canggu. The kitchen area was poorly equipped for the price we paid for the stay. It had a large fridge and a twin hob with a 5kg gas bottle under it. No cooker, microwave, toaster or running hot water in the kitchen to clean the dishes. The villa is rated for 6 guests so only has 1 very small frying pan,1 small saucepan. A few forks,2 spoons and no knives to dine with. Had to ask for more but only had 2 small steak knives for 4 guests.We had a lot of relatives staying in the Canggu area for a wedding so our property was the only property with no cooker,microwave toaster or running hot water in the kitchen and no living room area. We did have a few issues in the bathrooms with ant infestation and leaking bathroom as well as a broken door lock to the entrance of the property.We made the most of it as other than the kitchen the property was nice. We ate out a lot and have to say the restaurants were all nice. Just round the corner was a lovely bakery called fold which we ordered from on a daily basis. The Canggu area is nice but extremely busy so the traffic congestion is a major issue If you want to go anywhere.we enjoyed trips to Bali Zoo,waterfalls, Waterboom water park Hard Rock Cafe Bali as well as numerous lovely restaurants. Our favourite being the Barn which had live music and lovely western food.Overall not a bad place to stay but the property does need to upgrade their facilities as most other villas in the are provide better facilities than the one we stayed in for the price we paid

    Fabulous relaxing accommodation

    We stayed for 13 nights and absolutely loved it.The one bedroom villa was spacious with cool air conditioning. The bed was super comfortable and the pool, spotlessly clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily, and was great.We had a small issue with some noisy neighbors, however we were promptly moved to another identical quiet villa with a pool. I loved staying here and would certainly come back again.

    Great location. Central Canngu. Clean, safe and fun. The staff go above and beyond to help with any problems or changes.. Vivi behind the reception is lovely as is Yasa the supervisor! Great experience. If you want a good time I highly recommend.

    We didn't get the room which we booked. They said our villa was overbooked, which is weird since we made the reservation in September. They forced us to stay in 2 studio rooms for the first night. In first instance they wanted us to pay the same price as the villa we booked but eventually, after arguing, they gave a small discount. The next day we moved to the villa, this also happened an hour and a half later than which they promised us. They gave us a different villa as we booked, it was a UNFINISHED villa. the water was not running properly. It took us 6 instances of complaining at the front office until they finally agreed to check the water pressure (which was not in good order). We had a stain on our blanket, we found a cigarette in our shower and some in front of the room. This was also weird, since they mentioned we were the first who stayed in this villa. That the villa was unfinished became more clear since during the first day, without notice or permission, some people entered our villa to measure the walls, windows etc. The kitchen was not in use, the stove was still covered in plastic for example. Also, it didn't have any kitchen equipment. Although the pool was big and nice, it came with two dead crabs inside. When we moved to the villa from the studio room, we accidentally left a branded cap in our room. We realized it just a couple hours after we move to the villa, but the staff did not inform us, or come to the villa to give back the cap until we asked if they have it, sketchy huh. The last day, the villa next to us got new guests who thought it was a good idea to celebrate new years on the 4th of January. They kept up partying and igniting firework until 4 am. It would have been nice for the hotel to remind the neighbours they have people surrounding them.All with all, not worth the money and better look for another place to stay.

    My first adventure in bali and I stayed here twice.It was amazing24hr reception and security, daily room cleaning, daily free water, mini fridge, good showers. The pool was really nice and chilled. The hotel was in a great location just a 10 minute walk away from the main town of Canggu.
