    Dirty old disappointing location

    This location is falsely advertised! This is not a waterfront location. It is in the middle of a subdivision. The "penthouse " was a dirty 2 bedroom with 1 ac unit and another non functioning one. There were many broken things in the unit. The bathroom faucet handle came off in my hand! The repair person came to fix it and left our unit door wide open leaving our place unsecured! There was NO toaster, coffee maker, microwave, beach supplies, toliet paper, paper towels....well you get the drift. When we left we were expected to clean this grossly dirty place.....We did with our own cleaning supplies fearful she would charge us! As soon as we wrote a lesson than favorable review she claimed damages.We never saw any chemicals or maintenance being done to the pool so we didn't use it!She runs 3 different businesses at the location. Harmony Hotel, Palmita hotel and Hostel and Chez Lily. She also has 3 personas. Barbara, Lily and Elivira!I WOULD N OT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!

    Rats running in the hostel as cats don't go into the premises and stay at the pool. Pool is over chlorinated. Food stolen from fridge. No lockers and doors are not locked. Uneducated staff using the platforms to insult, threaten and intimidate guests if they don't like reviews instead of giving a professional response. They threaten people with police, insult their credibility and post lies to appear legitimate when they have been fraudulently scamming me by charging the card. Enough deception. Don't book here, quality is poor.

    Upon arrival I was not given the room I booked. She would not refund my money even though she did not have the room I booked. Also didn't have my reservation when I arrived and asked me to come back after although it was 4:07. She was very rude and disrespectful. Took advantage of us because the airport was closed. Another couple was coming in as I was leaving because she didn't have the room I booked. I actually booked 2 rooms and she tried to shove 7 of us in one room with no air conditioning. Do not book here. She would not refund my money even though she didn't have the room I booked available. Aruba Harmony, Eigenaar at Aruba Harmony Apartments, responded to this review Beste gast,Uw reisbureau heeft TWEE familiekamers voor 8 personen voor u geboekt, en u HEEFT DAAR BETAALD.U kreeg met suite met airconditioning, wat u niet wilde.Dan verhuren we gelijk aan iemand anders.U heeft nooit iets aan ons betaald dus kunnen wij ook niets terugbetalen. Dit moet u aan customer service van uw travel agency sturen in plaats van TripAdvisor.

    Relaxed and homely resort. When u need anything they are there for you!Beautiful garden and swimming pool.You can really find peace here to unwind. Prices are affordable.They can pick you up and take you to the airport.     Had an amazing time during my stay and met some lovely people from all over the world. Beautiful place with nice rooms and a private pool.Located close to bus stop and supermarket. Great host and fun atmosphere, will definitely stay there again! Aruba Harmony, Eigenaar at Aruba Harmony Apartments, responded to this review Hartelijk dank!
